Great British Bake Off fans have delivered in Bread Week where this year’s bakers spectacularly fell short – and we’re here for it.

The more quick-witted among us were so aghast at the contestants’ shocking flatbread attempts that they headed straight over to X to share their thoughts.

‘BreadFather’ Paul Hollywood branded it the “worst Technical in 17 years”.
