Rhona's fury at April pushes her closer to Ray - but someone comes to her rescue spoilers for next week reveal
The teen is playing right into Ray and Celia's handsApril Windsor thought things couldn’t get any worse after Leo took an overdose of her pills in Emmerdale and almost died. But she was wrong – as tonight’s episode showed.
As April tried to juggle both of her lives and keep everyone sweet, she ended up angering everybody – and has agreed to move out of home.
The decision to leave the safety of Rhona and Marlon’s house comes with dire consequences for April as she falls further under Ray’s spell. She will be saved from Ray for now, next week’s spoilers show. But for how long?

What happened to April in Emmerdale tonight?
After Celia’s threats to hurt her or her family if she told the truth, April knew she needed to continue lying. Ray and Dylan coached her on what to say when she was interviewed by the social worker.
April gave a great performance as the struggling teen who just couldn’t get things right. She poured all the blame onto Rhona and Marlon, explaining she felt immense pressure because Rhona is a superstar vet and Marlon is an amazing chef and she couldn’t ever live up to it.
Rhona overheard her lies and went apopleptic with rage. She told Marlon she hated April and Mary said she’d never seen her daughter that angry before.
April then suggested she should move out for a few weeks while the dust settled. Rhona immediately agreed, but Marlon wouldn’t hear of it.
As Rhona stormed out, April said she’d go and stay with mates for a while. However, ‘mates’ clearly means Ray who had messaged her saying he’d found her a place to live.

April moves out next week
By Monday it is absolutely clear Rhona does not want April living with them. But Marlon doesn’t want his daughter to move out, knowing last time it resulted in her sleeping on the streets and being missing for months.
April is determined it’s the right thing to do despite Marlon’s fears it will isolate her more. Not listening to him, April tells Ray she will take up his offer of a room. It’s clear she’s emotional about the decision, even though she remains firm in front of Marlon.
However when Bob spots her at the bus stop with her bags packed, he insists she move into the B&B instead. The idea gives April a reprieve from falling even further under Ray’s spell. Something that will infuriate him no doubt.
The idea that she’s moved into the B&B causes huge relief for Marlon and Rhona who were starting to regret kicking her out.
As Rhona offloads to Moira about it all, Celia happens to walk in during their conversation. She takes the opportunity to tell Rhona she’s done the right thing, which is another step to ensuring April stays far away from home – and well and truly in Celia and Ray‘s clutches.
Bob might have saved April for now. But for how much longer can this go on?
