Robert hasn't told Aaron about Kev
In a moment Robron fans have been waiting for, Robert and Aaron finally got back together in Emmerdale tonight – but will Robert’s secret husband put an immediate stop to the reunion?
Kev arrived in Emmerdale earlier this week, and immediately dropped the bombshell to viewers that he and Robert are married.
With Robert Sugden still keeping Kev from Aaron, the secret is set to destroy the newly reunited couple tomorrow.
Robert and Aaron got back together in Emmerdale
Chas Dingle previously overstepped the mark when she had a word with Robert and warned him away from her son.
Tonight, she apologised to Aaron for getting involved. She admitted to being over-protective, but explained she thought she was going to lose him, having already lost Grace – who would have been celebrating her 7th birthday today.
Aaron apologised for forgetting Grace’s birthday, but Chas assured him it was OK as he has been through a lot. She also told him that if he wants to pursue anything with Robert, she won’t get in the way.
Aaron later chatted with Robert about what his mum had said. He then made his feelings clear, telling Robert: “I know what I want, and it’s you! I want you.”
Robert appeared reluctant, saying they should take it slow. But Aaron assured him he didn’t need space and time. He said: “Life’s so short. And just thinking about Grace and my gran, and Liv. They’re all gone. So why are we wasting time when we both know what we want?”
Robert eventually agreed to give their relationship a go, but his mood dropped when he received a message from Kev, which said: “I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”
Will Kev destroy the Robron reunion?
When Kev arrived in the village on day release earlier this week, he broke the news to Robert that he is dying and only has months to live.
Robert told his sister Victoria that Kev is rich and once he dies he’ll get all his money. Though, he did also share that he does care about Kev.
Vic has urged her brother to tell Aaron about Kev, but Robert’s torn between breaking either Aaron’s heart of the heard of a dying man.
Thursday’s episode of Emmerdale sees Robert visit Kev in prison. A secret husband is a pretty big thing to hide, so will Robert tell Aaron about his visit to the prison? Or will he break Kev’s heart?
