Stacey Solomon joins The Masked Singer panel in fresh shake-up: 'I can’t wait to start sleuthing'
'Me and my family are huge fans of the show!'Stacey Solomon will join The Masked Singer’s new Wild Cards team when the ITV entertainment show returns early next year.
The presenter and former X Factor contestant will become one of the celebrity guessers on Alan Carr’s rival panel. The Wild Cards will compete against the programme’s established detectives, who will now use the name the Legends.
Stacey’s latest booking follows her guest appearance on Britain’s Got Talent. It also comes amid unconfirmed reports that Stacey and Alesha Dixon could take over The Voice UK in a future presenting shake-up.
ITV has not confirmed that possible Voice role. Therefore, The Masked Singer represents Stacey’s second confirmed recent appearance on one of the channel’s major Saturday-night entertainment programmes, rather than a confirmed third booking.

What has Stacey Solomon said about The Masked Singer?
Stacey shared her excitement about joining the guessing game and revealed that the programme already has plenty of fans in her household.
She said: “I’m so excited to be joining Alan Carr’s team on The Masked Singer. Me and my family are huge fans of the show. I can’t wait to start sleuthing and hopefully unmask a few more superstars.”
ITV has yet to reveal the other celebrities who will join Stacey and Alan on the Wild Cards team.
Joel Dommett will continue to host the competition. Meanwhile, Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall will make up the Legends panel.
The new format creates another contest within the familiar singing show. Both groups will attempt to work out which famous faces are performing inside the programme’s elaborate costumes.

Stacey Solomon already has history with The Masked Singer
Stacey became a popular viewer theory during the 2021 series. Many fans thought she was performing as Sausage, who eventually won the competition.
However, the celebrity beneath the costume turned out to be singer Joss Stone. Stacey’s own musical background made her a plausible guess, as she first found fame on The X Factor in 2009.
She has since built a broad television career across presenting, factual entertainment and reality TV.
Her move onto The Masked Singer panel gives her another chance to draw on that early singing experience, this time while investigating the contestants rather than performing.
When will Stacey Solomon appear on The Masked Singer?
The new series of The Masked Singer will air in early 2027. ITV has not announced an exact launch date yet.
The broadcaster also has not confirmed whether Stacey’s potential role on The Voice UK will go ahead. For now, viewers can expect to see her joining Alan and trying to outguess the Legends when The Masked Singer returns.
