As Victoria is determined to confess to John’s murder, Isabel Hodgins’ Emmerdale exit is ‘days away’
Victoria will be saying goodbye to the village soonVictoria is ready to confess to John’s murder, despite getting away with it, and it all lines up with Isabel Hodgins leaving Emmerdale for quite some time.
Things have been quite tense for Victoria since January, when she killed her half-brother, John Sugden. Ever since, she has been struggling with the guilt, and things intensified when she finally discovered the truth about Robert’s dodgy deal with Joe Tate tonight (February 9).
Realising that Moira is only being framed because Joe has evidence on her, Victoria made the decision to confess. And with Isabel Hodgins’ Emmerdale exit quickly approaching, is this her way out?

Victoria wants to confess
Tonight’s dramatic episode of Emmerdale saw quite a few villagers want to get Moira out of prison. Aside from Cain violently forcing Bear, Victoria also discovered the truth about Joe’s threats.
Victoria revealed to Aaron and Robert that John’s cause of death was confirmed to be suicide, meaning she was in the clear.
While everyone was relieved, and suggested it is time to completely forget about John, Victoria was clearly still struggling with that. When alone, Victoria broke down in tears. But John’s cause of death wasn’t the only shock she was about to get.
Later, Robert met up with Joe to discuss the blackmail. But what he didn’t realise was Victoria was listening to the whole thing. She confronted her brother, who admitted to planting evidence on Moira.
And in the end, Victoria realised one thing – Moira wouldn’t be free until she confessed to John’s murder.

When does Isabel Hodgins leave Emmerdale?
Ever since Isabel Hodgins announced her pregnancy – months after her gorgeous wedding – Emmerdale fans have been dreading saying goodbye to Victoria.
At the time, Isabel made it seem like she might never be coming back to the soap. But in a new interview with The Sun, she confirms she will be back, but she doesn’t know when.
The same interview also suggests that Victoria’s on-screen exit may be closer than any of us ever thought. The article reports that Isabel’s final scenes will air this week – so Victoria only has a few days to get everything sorted.
Isabel was keeping hush on how Victoria departs the show, but she did tease the drama.
She told the outlet: “I am not going to spoil what happens. But Victoria will definitely be leaving the soap because I am having a baby in real life!”
However, she confirmed the soap has left the door open for her, whenever she decides to return.
Isabel explained: “They told me it was up to me when I come back to the soap, which is lovely. I have been in Emmerdale for 19 years. It’s been a huge part of my life. Everyone has been so nice.”
So, whether or not Victoria actually confesses remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure, Emmerdale will be very strange without her.
