Jude’s dad has also worked on the soap (Credit: ITV/ Shutterstock) Jude Riordan’s real-life family link to Coronation Street revealed Jude Riordan might be playing a crucial role on the ITV soap right now, but he’s not the only member of his family to have walked the cobbles. In 2022, Jude’s brother Zach actually starred alongside him (literally) playing the role of Oscar – a lad that Sam competed against in a chess tournament. And, just to keep the soap in the family even more, Jude’s own father is a Corrie star in his own right. Paul Riordan is a director that has worked on the likes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street. Since 2021, Paul has directed 17 episodes of Corrie – even directing episodes starring his son. In 2024 on Instagram, Jude shared a snap of both him and his dad on set, captioning the post: “Another block with the Father. A busy couple of days! More bold choices.
