Classic Coronation Street usually airs Monday to Friday on ITV3. The times can vary, but it usually airs two episodes just after lunchtime and then the same episodes repeat early the next morning so you can catch up over breakfast.

Classic Coronation Street is next on ITV3 on Friday, December 19 at 2.30pm and 3.00pm. It is then repeated on Monday December 22 at 8.00am and 8.35am. These episodes originally aired on ITV in October 2007.

What happens in Classic Corrie today – Rosie dresses to impress

Jodie washes her hands of Jerry by announcing she’s moving to London to make her own life. Carla considers Tony’s proposition but warns him it will take some doing.

Dressed to the nines, Rosie uses every trick in the book to make John feel uncomfortable on her first day back at school. Jerry struggles without Jodie, and Sarah is stressed juggling looking after Bethany with doing two jobs.

Coronation Street in 2007

Coronation Street in 2007 started with barmaid Violet Wilson having a miscarriage. After she recovered she realied she’d have to act fast if she ever wanted to have a baby. So she enlisted some help from gay best friend Sean.

Meanwhile Peter Barlow returned to Weatherfield after four years away, and his sister Tracy killed her boyfriend, Charlie Stubbs, and went to jail.

Leanne Battersby also returned, causing trouble for Paul Connor, and the Morton family arrived.

Fiz dumped boyfriend Kirk after getting together with teacher John Stape – a decision we know she’d end up regretting! Later that year, John started an affair with schoolgirl Rosie Webster, which was revealed in dramatic style on Christmas Day.

Future killer Tony Gordon also arrived on the Street.

David Platt went off the rails, while his feud with sister Sarah turned nasty.

And Cilla Battersby-Brown waved goodbye to Weatherfield.

Other storylines in 2007 included romantic troubles for Liz McDonald, who cheated on fiance Vernon and discovered ex-husband Jim had been released from prison.
