Carla Connor and Kit Green are desperate to find some dirt on Becky Swain and bring her down in Coronation Street.

Tonight (Wednesday, December 3), the pair secretly compared notes over Becky and discussed their next move.

But, will they be able to find enough evidence to expose Becky and her corruption?

Kit and Carla teamed up in Coronation Street

Despite being an unlikely duo, it seems as though Kit and Carla actually make a great team. Tonight, Kit spoke to Carla about Costello’s attack and how he was sure that Becky was behind it.

However, they didn’t have any proof because the lad they’d arrested – Soap, wasn’t giving them any info. And, poor Costello, despite coming out of his coma, was barely able to talk.

Meanwhile, Becky was plotting to kill Costello but when Lisa interrupted her at the hospital, Becky believed that her time was up and started to pack her bag. With Lisa then informing her that Costello wasn’t going to be talking anytime soon, she held off on escaping after all.

Carla also returned back to No.6 tonight after her quest to find a flat fell through. She told Lisa that this changed nothing between them and that she would be taking her old room back.

Meeting up with Kit in the pub later on, Carla Connor admitted that she’d moved back to keep an eye on Becky. She was going to watch her every move, adamant that she’d find some evidence to bring her down.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal next move for Kit and Carl plan

In Coronation Street spoilers for Friday, December 5, it looks as though Kit and Carla’s plan to bring down Becky is well and truly taking shape.

Kit fills Carla in, admitting he’s certain Becky’s tangled up in the attack on Costello, but without Costello’s phone, proving anything is like chasing smoke.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Becky strikes up a chat with Costello’s daughter and slyly clocks a key detail – her birthday is September 22nd. When the girl flicks through holiday pics on Costello’s iPad, Becky quietly stores away the passcode hint.

But just as she thinks she’s one step ahead, Kit updates Lisa that the police have tracked down Costello’s missing phone. Has Becky’s little head start just gone up in flames?

What else happened in Coronation Street tonight?

Dee-Dee dumped Ollie

Ollie was banging on about spending Christmas with Dee-Dee, and even planned to do so next year too.

This was all a bit fast for Dee-Dee who then decided that she actually didn't like Ollie has much as he liked her, ending the relationship. Awks.

Megan agreed to a date with Daniel

Will Driscoll was not a happy chap when he witnessed Megan and Daniel celebrating her Weathy High job interview in the Rovers.

When Daniel asked Megan out on a date (goodness, he does have a type, doesn't he?), Megan was smitten.

Afterwards, meeting up with Will in secret, Megan told Will that she was only sweetening Daniel up so he'd help her get the job. Yes, the job that would mean she could live closer to Will. And, he bought every word of it.

Christmas clash for Maggie and Eva

Eva wanted a colourful 'jewel' theme, whatever that meant. But, Maggie wanted silver tinsel galore all over the pub for Christmas instead.

Ben helped the pair compromise, and poor Glenda was thankful for his intervention.

Christina worried about Todd

With Dev turning up to the flat unexpectedly, Todd lied that he'd just returned from London early that morning to check on Theo after the 'break-in.' He also lied that his nasty facial injury was a result of a wild night out.

With Dev out of the way, Theo then gave Todd a 'gift' - a fitness tracker. Ordering Todd to train for his 10k right away, Theo secretly tracked his whereabouts.

Christina spotted Todd with a cramp and invited him into the undertaker's to rest. Todd reluctantly agreed to having a cup of tea with her and was surprised to hear that George was missing him at work.

However, he quickly scarpered and went back to the flat to face an angry Theo who had tracked his every move. He was then forced to agreeing to staying well clear of both Christina and George in the future. Poor Todd.
