After Susie shared her Christmas wish of having a baby sister (or brother if she really must), Eva crumbled and confided in Adam. The pair then discussed a huge secret Eva had been keeping from Ben for many years. And this secret creates a whole load of Christmas drama this week. Susie triggered Eva (Credit: ITV) Eva confided in Adam about huge secret in Coronation Street Tonight on the cobbles, the Driscolls were getting ready for Christmas. And, little Susie shared her hope of being given a baby sister or brother. Ben joked that it was a little too late to ask for that considering that Christmas was so soon. But, he then suggested to Eva that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try for a baby together. Adam then told Eva that she ‘had no choice,’ reflecting on a decision they’d made many years ago. A decision that looked a though being a mum to a newborn was off the cards for Eva. Eva started to regret it, telling Adam that maybe she could’ve tried to be a mum to another baby. Keeping her past decision a secret from Ben, Eva also agreed to protect Adam by continuing to keep it a secret during a sweet and touching moment (their hands were literally touching). Poor Adam was scared that Ben would get his revenge his he found out what they’d done all those years ago… And, it wouldn’t be pretty. Maggie Driscoll can barely hide her contempt as Ben and Eva play the perfect couple, exchanging gifts and turning the festive charm all the way up. Carl's mum died Carl Webster headed to Ronnie's Stag do and caused Kevin to storm out due to his presence. He then received a phone call as he was informed that his mum Elaine had died. Carl broke down as he confided in Abi about how his mum hadn't even told him that she'd got cancer and had known she was dying. Abi thought this was awful, with Debbie hiding the secret that Elaine has tried to contract her multiple times but she'd ignored the calls. She then begged Ronnie to keep this a secret from her brother. Debbie failed to show up to her own do Ronnie arranged a surprise Hen do for Debbie at the hotel. But, Debbie got her dates mixed up, leaving the hens to party without her. Drinks were on the house though, and the party-goers enjoyed a few drunken confessions from Sally! Who knew carpet samples could be such a turn on?! Becky visited Costello Lisa was devastated when Betsy showed her a photo of Carla living her 'best life' of holiday. She then contemplated going abroad herself, in a petty act of revenge. Later on, Lisa informed Becky that Costello was being discharged and taken to rehab later that day. Becky then rushed out and took over from the paramedic in charge, making Costello promise to keep her secrets so that she could live a happy life with her wife and daughter. Costello agreed but it wasn't as though he had much choice. Asha met with her supervisor Asha bumped into Sienna at the hospital and revealed that she was meeting up with her supervisor. However, she still didn't feel ready to rejoin the programme just yet. Shona and David attended a class Shona dragged David along to her antenatal class and encouraged him to mingle with the other parents. He sat down and spoke to someone called Sophie, mocking the class while not realising that she was actually the teacher who instructed the class. Making a fool of himself, David was soon made to demonstrate a TENS machine. The idea of torture was enough to keep him in line. And, it gave everyone a laugh too. Including Shona.
