Not only Shona, but Lily too, confronted Jodie over her lies and secrets as she tried to explain herself. But, with members of her own family now onto her, has Jodie just ‘sealed’ her fate? Lily found Jodie’s treasured possession (Credit ITV) Lily rumbled Jodie Ramsey’s secret trinket box in Coronation Street Suspicious behaviour from Jodie sent alarm bells ringing in the latest Coronation Street scenes of Coronation Street, but will her web of lies finally unravel? At the hospital, Jodie stuck close to Shona and David while baby Harper underwent surgery. Thankfully, the operation proved a success, with Shona revealing that a team of twelve doctors worked together to remove the mass from Harper’s neck. A mum she’d chatted to the day before approached her in the corridor and asked how Harper was doing. Instead of correcting the misunderstanding, Jodie once again allowed the woman to believe she was Harper’s mum – even casually referring to herself as ‘Shona.’ Unfortunately for Jodie, the real Shona overheard every word. Marching over, Shona confronted her on the spot, leaving Jodie red-faced as the other woman quickly slipped away from the uncomfortable exchange.Don't miss a single story! Thinking on her feet, Jodie insisted it was all a simple misunderstanding. According to her, the woman had made the assumption and she’d just gone along with it, claiming she didn’t trust the stranger anyway. Shona seemed to accept the explanation, suggesting the woman might simply be lonely and struggling. But she also warned that lies like that tend to leave people isolated in the end. If only she knew the full story… Later, the drama followed Jodie home when Lily Platt made a shocking discovery. After stumbling across Jodie’s hidden trinket box, Lily demanded answers about the strange contents – including a cut-out photo of Bernie and a copy of Brian’s book. Jodie attempted to brush it off, claiming she was just protecting herself – and Lily too. But Lily wasn’t convinced, bluntly calling the whole thing ‘insane.’ Desperate, Jodie begged her niece to keep quiet while hurriedly hiding the box again. With Shona suspicious, Lily unconvinced and Bethany already keeping a watchful eye, Jodie’s secrets might not stay buried for much longer… Jodie has a target on her back (Credit: ITV) Jodie could be a ‘dead woman walking’ in Coronation Street While Jodie might’ve done an alright job of pulling the wool over Shona’s eyes, the same can’t be said about two of her others family members – Bethany and Lily. With Lily finding out such a big secret of Jodie’s, she has the power to expose her. But, Jodie’s might do her best at trying to get Lily on her side. Her niece does look up to her, after all. But, as for Bethany, she’s been quick to see through Jodie’s ‘nice sister’ act and was right to believe that she took Shona’s missing wedding ring. With so many Platts on her case, tonight’s episode might’ve just been a huge ‘clue’ that Jodie’s the April flashforward murder victim. Her whole cover now relies on a teenager remaining tight-lipped. So it’s rather unstable. How long can Jodie keep up this act? And, will it all come back to bite her as she pays the ultimate price? What else happened in Coronation Street tonight? Looks like Theo won't be getting much for his special day after all. George got some news George was thrilled tonight when the police decided to drop Annie's case against him. However, this didn't stop Annie from continuing with her plan to go to court. Fearing for his business, George feared it was the end of an era. Is he right?
