She enjoyed watching a film with him last night (Tuesday, February 11), with David growing suspicious of her ‘needy’ behaviour. But, as she plots to steal Shona’s life for herself, just how far will Jodie take things? So much so, that she abandoned her own father for her shiny, new family. Reconnecting with Shona, Jodie’s been keeping a few secrets from her and has told a few white lies. She’s also tried to keep her anger towards Shona for abandoning her as a child hidden for the time being. The first step of this plan has seen her attempt to get closer to David. These scenes saw a drunk Shona head upstairs to sober up while Jodie got emotional while chatting to David. In a heartfelt moment, she asked David if it would be ‘weird’ for him to watch a film with her. She didn’t want to be on her own. David brushed off any uncomfortable feelings and agreed, sitting down to stick on a film while his wife slept upstairs. Could another Platt baby be on the way? While it’s hard to believe that David will cheat on Shona at the moment, it’s clear that Jodie’s arrival and baby Harper’s condition has put a slight strain on their marriage. This strain could only get bigger if Jodie keeps on gnawing away. But, not only could she sleep with him, the theory predicts that she’ll get pregnant with David’s baby. Yes, David could soon have two little mouths to feed. One fan online suggested: “It’s so obvious Jodie and David are going to sleep together.” Another fan then went further and reckoned: “Yeah I think she’ll get pregnant. Something’s not right with her.” But, could another Platt baby soon be on the way? Fans complain of 'too many villains' taking over the Street Latest newcomer Jodie is shaping up to be quite the Corrie villain, but this has prompted fans to complain about the number of baddies currently roaming the cobbles. Another annoyed person contributed: "I feel the same, I commented on another post ‘Can a person just visit without becoming a villain?’ They’ve completely unbalanced the show." A third fan added: "Worst part is that all of the villains have not even been in Corrie for a year. First it was Mick, then Theo, then Carl, it only took February – April for all 3 of them to appear. Then you got Becky, Maggie, maybe Will as a villain or Megan, then Jodie."
