And not only that, she also had to explain herself to her baffled sister Shona after pretending to be baby Harper’s mum. There are a fair few Platts starting to become suspicious of Jodie, but can she turn things around before they expose her true intentions? Shona overheard Jodie’s lies (Credit: ITV) Shona confronted Jodie over parenting lies in Coronation Street ITVX scenes Today on the cobbles, Jodie continued to support Shona and David at the hospital amid Harper’s surgery. Shona revealed that the surgery had gone well, with it taking twelve people to remove her little one’s mass from her neck. Jodie continued with the narrative that she was ‘Shona’ and was Harper’s ‘mum.’ However, Shona overheard the whole conversation and publicly confronted Jodie over her lie – in front of the woman. With the woman quickly removing herself from the conversation, Jodie then told Shona that the woman just assumed she was Harper’s mum and she just went a long with it. Jodie told her that she was doing it to stand up for herself, and to also protect Lily. But, Lily called the whole thing ‘insane.’ Jodie fought back and said that it was a ‘good insane,’ begging Lily to keep her discovery a secret. Lily didn’t make any promises though as she watched Jodie quickly stash her box out of sight from the rest of the family. With both Shona and Lily sharing their suspicions, as well as Bethany keeping a close eye on Jodie, is the net closing in on her?
