On-screen in Weatherfield, Theo has just broken up with his partner Todd Grimshaw. But, he’s not ready to cut all ties with him just yet. As the Corrie storyline intensifies, here’s what else actor James Cartwright is set to appear in. Theo and Todd broke up this week (Credit: ITV) Theo and Todd’s abuse storyline update in Coronation Street Recently on the cobbles, Theo Silverton and Todd Grimshaw parted ways and ended their relationship. However, Theo still remains firmly in Todd’s life (unfortunately). After Theo threatened to stab Todd with a knife on his birthday, the damage had well and truly been done. He then found Todd in quite the state of dismantling a new food blender. Theo then entered the flat and spoke to Todd, blaming him for their constant fights and unhappiness. Taking off his engagement ring, Theo then ended the relationship. But, the storyline isn’t over yet… He’s not ready to let Todd walk free of his grasp just yet.Don't miss a single story! James has been working on something away from the cobbles (Credit: ITV) James Cartwright’s latest role away from Coronation Street revealed As well as playing the role of villain Theo, James Cartwright has also been busy filming away from Weatherfield in a completely different role. James will be appearing as the character Benny in horror and comedy titled Bjorn of the Dead. This will follow an ABBA tribute band that becomes trapped in a nightclub at the start of the apocalypse. Very thrilling. Alongside James, his dad Jim will also have a role in the production too. He’ll play the role of an Elder Tribute. However, this new project isn’t a Corrie ‘clue,’ as James has already filmed all of his scenes, with the project already having been completed and awaiting release. So, it doesn’t look as though James’ new role will affect Theo’s future on the Street.
