Last night on the cobbles (Wednesday, February 12), Jodie pulled out her secret box of trinkets again and started to rummage through. She then pulled out a gold locket necklace with photos of two small children inside of it. But, who are they? And, what’s so special about this box of things? Jodie’s keeping her box a secret (Credit: ITV) Jodie’s box of trinkets in Coronation Street Jodie sifted through a box of trinkets last night as she sat in the Platts’ house alone. She could be seen staring at a lighter that read ‘Love you, Jonesy’ on it. She then got out a gold locket necklace. And, she quickly stared at some photos of two children inside – two smiling girls. Shona then noticed it and wanted to know what it was. Jodie made out that she’d bought it at a charity shop. When Shona opened it, she wondered who the girls were. While Jodie pretended that she had no idea, the locket was clearly meaningful to her. But, why? Well, with Jodie having some dark secrets and acting rather strangely recently, Coronation Street fans reckon that this isn’t just any old trinket box. Victims? People she’s killed. Remembering a similar storyline over in rival ITV soap Emmerdale, fans now think that Jodie could be following the same path as legendary soap serial killer Meena Jutla. One fan wondered: “Maybe the box is her trophy cabinet of all the weird [bleep] she’s done over the years? That’s the vibe I got.” Another person then suggested: “Maybe we’ll have a Meena (from Emmerdale) style storyline and they’re from all the people she’s killed!” A third viewer added: “This is what I think as well,” while a fourth person shared: “I’m wondering about what else is in that box and what it all means. Could it be trophies and could we have another Meena on our hands?
