Coronation Street has confirmed the five possible victims of the April murder in today’s flashforward scenes (Monday, February 16).

In the flashforward episode that has already been released on ITVX, viewers finally found out that names of the five potential victims of the spring murder.

On April 23rd, Betsy Swain finds a dead body. But, who does it belong to? We’ve ranked the five victims from least to most likely to be killed.

Least likely – 1. Jodie Ramsey

Jodie Ramsey has been keeping some pretty dark secrets from Shona and the rest of the Platts since her arrival. She’s caught up in some deep lies about her past, desperate to steal Shona’s ‘perfect’ life for herself.

Blaming Shona for her upbringing and abandoning her, Jodie’s secretly bearing a huge grudge against her sister. She also has a very suspicious box of trinkets that can only cause more harm than good.

But, on April 23rd, could someone from Jodie’s past bump her off? Or, could the Platts finally uncover her true colours and finish the job?

It all sounds exciting but we reckon that Jodie hasn’t just been introduced for a few months. We’ve still got to find out about her link to Emmerdale’s Graham Foster, what her box of trinkets actually means, and just why she and her dad had such a fractured relationship. It seems very untimely for Jodie to die just a few months after she was first introduced onto our screens.

We don’t think she’s quite done yet.

2. Maggie Driscoll

Maggie Driscoll’s also on the list. But, who would want her dead? Well, Maggie would do anything to protect her family. She secretly killed her own husband many moons ago, and helped Will Driscoll cover up his attack on Daniel.

If she found out about Megan’s grooming of Will, there’s no saying what she’d try to do. But, she could just end up with the revenge plot totally backfiring and leaving her dead herself.

Maggie’s a smart cookie though. She knows how to get away with murder (literally!) She’s not a victim, she’s the one holding all of the cards. At the centre of the Driscoll family, Maggie’s a strong female character with many sides to her. If a murder has to happen, we reckon Maggie’s more likely to be the killer than the victim.

Coronation Street's Carl serious

3. Carl Webster

Carl Webster’s a tricky one to place because there are many reasons why somebody would want him dead. And by somebody, we mean most people.

By framing mum Debbie and letting her go to prison for the death of Billy Mayhew, Carl’s burnt bridges with everyone. Including his nearest and dearest.

It’s easy then to see how one of his enemies could have enough of him and bump him off. However, Carl’s storyline could also easily end with a one-way flight to Germany just how he intended.

Carl Webster dying wouldn’t really have a huge impact in Weatherfield other than on poor Debbie. He’s destroyed his relationship with pretty much everyone and not many would miss him. It would be a bit of a disappointing reveal so we’re undecided about this one.

Coronation Street's Theo serious

4. Theo Silverton

Theo Silverton needs to get his comeuppance sooner rather than later. His and Todd’s storyline has been going on for a while now, so surely it’s about to reach its peak?

With the couple’s wedding day looming, Todd has one last chance to confide in someone about Theo’s abuse. Could someone step in and help him free himself from the chains of Theo for good? Or, could Todd fight back himself and kill his partner?

It’s easy to see how Theo could end up dead, but we also would love to see him go to prison and truly have to sit with the awful things he’s done to Todd. We think that would be the worst punishment for him. But, not everyone in Weatherfield might see it that way.

Most likely to die – 5. Megan Walsh

Megan Walsh is secretly grooming teen Will Driscoll and only Sam Blakeman seems to be onto her.

But, with the youngster desperate to expose Megan for who she truly is, will everyone soon see her true colours and set out to make her pay?

Megan’s in a truly concerning position when it comes to being bumped off because she’s messed with the WRONG family. She has no idea that there’s a murderer amongst the Driscolls in the shape of Maggie. And, the other family members don’t strike us as the type to let her awful behaviour slide.

With no family in Weatherfield, Megan seems like an easy character to bump off to finish a storyline neatly. We’ve popped her at the top of our list.
