With the special one-off soap crossover set to air in January, viewers can expect some big things from the upcoming car pile-up stunt. But, with lots of lives on the line, will everyone survive the disaster? And trust us, this one looks huge. The moody, heart-stopping promo teases a devastating pile-up that throws the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale together in the most dramatic way possible. Unveiled during The Big Quiz – ITV’s festive showdown hosted by Stephen Mulhern – the 30-second sneak peek wasted no time raising the stakes. They join an already stacked list featuring David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Aaron Dingle and Lisa Swain. In the aftermath, Kit Green takes charge as a visibly shaken Carla tries to calm a distressed casualty. Shona and David lie injured roadside while Emmerdale paramedic Jacob leaps into action, with Asha and Cain tackling more casualties nearby.
