Breaking down after attending a domestic abuse survivors’ support group, Jodie was soon comforted by her sister. But, Shona had no idea that Jodie had completely taken her story from another woman at the group… Shona rushed home to support Jodie (Credit: ITV) Jodie breaks down in Coronation Street On the Street today, Shona bumped into Kit and soon found out that he’d first met Jodie on the night of the crash. She’d been tied up by someone in a van and had fled. Jodie overheard Shona and Kit talking and soon went off to a domestic abuse survivors’ support group. Shona had advised her to talk about her past experience with someone. She then broke down in front of Bethany, with Shona then rushing home from the hospital to comfort her struggling sister. Jodie then decided to open up to Shona about her experience in an abusive relationship – except it wasn’t her story to tell. Jodie used another woman’s story (Credit: ITV) Jodie reveals abusive relationship with Emmerdale legend – with twist revealed The upset Ramsay sister went into detail about how she’s gotten into an abusive relationship with a man who wouldn’t leave her alone. He’d always been there watching her every move, but when she got pregnant she thought things would change. However, when he found the bags that she’d packed and rumbled her escape plan, he made her pay. Her things were thrown out of the window, and she woke up on the yard bleeding… The only way she’d been able to get away from him was during the crash when she got her chance to flee. This means that Jodie was telling the tale of Emmerdale’s Graham Foster as being her abusive partner – the man driving the van. But, Jodie’s story wasn’t actually true. She’d taken the words straight out of the mouth of another woman from the support group – Ellie. She’d then turned on the waterworks and made Shona believe that Ellie’s story was her own. So, what is Jodie hiding? And, what really went on in her past?
