She’s already dripped poison into Lily’s ear about Shona, and made up a whole domestic abuse story to tug on her sister’s heartstrings, but she’s not stopping at just that. No, Jodie’s now meddling with Shona’s life in another way – and it involves their dad. Shona tried to track down their dad (Credit: ITV) Shona tries to track down her dad in Coronation Street Since listening to Jodie’s story about their dad treating her badly ever since Shona abandoned her as a kid, Shona had been desperate to track him down. She feels awful for her half-sister and wants to make up for the time they lost together, not knowing that Jodie’s keeping a few dark secrets up her sleeve. She then attempted to ring him and was told to call him at 6pm. As Shona had this conversation at Roy’s Rolls, Jodie was on shift and overheard the whole thing. And, with hours until Shona was due to speak to Bernard, she had enough time to intervene. She then asked him if he remembered her sister Shona. It appeared that Jodie had told Bernard to lie to Shona and spin a tale about not knowing their dad anymore as when Shona picked up the phone again she was very disappointed. Shona quizzed Bernard on her dad and asked if they were still in touch. She even asked if there was anyone else he could put her in contact with who could help her track her dad down. However, Bernard said that he hadn’t spoken to her dad in years. Of course, this was really odd to Shona because she remembered them being as thick as thieves. But, what is Jodie hiding? Why did she get Bernard to lie about not being in contact with their dad? What doesn’t Jodie want Shona to know?
