Coronation Street’s Tina O'Brien, 42, wows in bikini on solo holiday: ‘Aging like a fine wine’

Tina O’Brien had fans dishing out the compliments after she posed up a storm in a bikini.

The TV legend, 42, has been a staple on screens for years, after shooting to fame as Sarah Platt on Coronation Street. Away from the soap, Tina is a proud mum to Scarlett Thomas, born in 2008, whom she shares with ex Ryan Thomas.

Tina also has a son Beau, born in 2014, with ex-husband Adam Crofts, whom she split from last year. And it’s fair to say over the years, she has often left fans gobsmacked by her ageless appearance.

Recently though, Tina shared a slew of snaps to her Instagram from a solo trip abroad – but it was her bikini-clad photo that got plenty of fans talking…

In one photo, Tina posed for a selfie while she dined for one, and another showed her gorgeous resort – complete with a bright blue pool and picturesque views.

No stranger to setting pulses racing, Tina also uploaded a gorgeous bikini-clad snap. In the photo she posed in a flower-printed bikini that showed off her ageless body.

The soap star captioned the post: “I had the most incredible solo travel experience exploring Ischia and Capri. Can’t wait to plan the next one.” Tina then included a quote: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? – Mary Oliver.”

Tina ‘looks the same as she did 20 years ago’

As expected, fans were left swooning over the post and flooded the comments section with compliments. One smitten follower told her: “Aging like a fine wine.”

Another added: “You are absolutely stunning. You never age and still look the same as you did 20 years ago. I think you are the female Dorian Gray!” A third chimed in: “Wow. Tina could you be any more beautiful!”

Echoing their thoughts, a fourth wrote: “What a lovely body.” Someone else declared: “Absolutely stunning beautiful woman.”

Tina reveals secret to youthful appearance

Meanwhile earlier this year, Tina revealed the ‘secret’ behind her youthful looks, admitting “it is embarrassingly low-key”.

“You’d think that working on television that I would have an amazing 10 step routine by now, but sadly, I don’t,” she said.

“But the things that I really do swear by are very, very simple. I’m obsessed with sleep and I need a minimum of 8 hours, but ideally I love to get 10. And then the other thing alive to do is drink lots of water.”

Tina then added: “But the one thing that I genuinely swear by is collagen. And the reason that I started taking collagen is because I heard that women get to our mid 20s we start losing it.

“And then it speeds up massively when you’re heading towards perimenopause and your body can actually lose over 30% of its collagen in just a few years.”
