1. Maggie celebrates her 65th birthday

Maggie’s birthday bash hits Weatherfield, and the Rovers turns chaotic faster than you can say ‘last orders.’ What should’ve been a cheerful clink of glasses becomes a showdown of frosty looks, sharp digs, and under-the-surface tension.

Between the forced smiles and barbed remarks, it’s clear this family is sitting on a whole stack of buried issues just waiting to erupt. Whispers of old wounds and unspoken grudges bubble up with every pint poured.

In true Corrie style, Maggie’s big day isn’t just a celebration – it’s a pressure cooker ready to blow.

2. A flashback shares a glimpse into Maggie’s past

Maggie’s birthday bash takes a wild detour this week as the cobbles whisk us back in time,  and trust us, her past is every bit as dramatic as her present-day side-eye.

In this special flashback episode, we’re treated to the origin story of Weatherfield’s resident mother-in-law menace, revealing exactly how Maggie perfected that icy glare and iron-fisted family guidance.

From youthful mischief to early power grabs, the clues are all there. And as the truth spills out, dark secrets are revealed (did someone say murder?). Just what is Maggie capable of when she’s pushed too far?

3. Eva vs Maggie in Coronation Street

Eva isn’t exactly hiding her feelings about Maggie. After all, subtlety has never been her strong suit. And, Maggie’s frosty little smiles make it crystal clear the dislike is mutual. Every time they share a room, you can practically hear the Rovers’ glasses rattle from the tension alone.

Eva rolls her eyes, Maggie clicks her tongue, and the whole Street leans in like it’s the main event.

With Maggie’s reputation for holding grudges longer than Norris held gossip, viewers might rightly wonder if Eva Price should start watching her back… or at least keep a safe distance when Maggie’s in one of those moods. Nobody messes with Maggie ‘matriarch’ Driscoll.
