Roy meets Alice’s husband in Coronation Street spoilers Roy Cropper’s quiet day is thrown completely off-balance when a stranger strolls into the café and drops a bombshell hotter than a fresh pot of tea. Introducing himself as Mal, the man calmly explains he’s Alice’s husband. Roy’s jaw hits the floor. Bernie lashes out at Dev Elsewhere, Bernie decides the only cure for heartbreak is… a hangover. Announcing she’s off for a ‘few drinks with the girls,’ she ignores Dev’s gentle warning that alcohol isn’t the answer. Bernie snaps, storms off, and soon finds herself necking shots with Gemma, Sally, Glenda and Christina like it’s an Olympic sport. After loudly declaring she’s heading home, Bernie somehow ends up at the Chariot Square bar instead. Oops. Bernie has a few drinks with Mal (Credit: ITV) 3. Bernie gets close to Mal One shot turns into another, then a whisky joins the party. Enter Mal, fresh from shocking Roy, now ready to overshare. He reveals his wife’s been having an affair, and Bernie Winter, fuelled by grief and gin, opens up about Paul and Billy’s epic love story. The pair bond fast – maybe a little too fast. When Ryan clocks their state and firmly cuts them off, Mal decides to keep the night rolling and invites Bernie up to his room. Bold move. Very bold. With emotions high, drinks flowing and secrets spilling faster than the optics, will Bernie make a clean break… or take one more disastrous detour?
