Shona finally finds her dad (Credit: ITV) 1. Family skeletons come out of the wardrobe Shona’s detective hat is firmly on when she clocks Jodie sneaking off again and decides to tail her. The trail leads somewhere unexpected – a psychiatric unit. There, the penny finally drops as Jodie introduces Shona to their disoriented, long-lost dad. Emotions spill faster than tea at Roy’s as Jodie admits she was left holding the parental parcel after their mum legged it. Shona’s suspicions soften into sympathy, and she reassures Jodie that she’s not facing this family chaos alone anymore. It’s a reunion nobody ordered… but one that’s long overdue. Bernie scrambles to explain he’s ‘just the electrician’ and begs Ryan to zip it about their hotel hiccup. But the truth doesn’t stay unplugged for long. Bernie soon admits to Gemma that the man rewiring Roy’s flat is the same bloke she rewired herself on that boozy night out. Gemma’s jaw hits the floor and she urges Bernie to fess up to Dev before gossip does the rounds faster than a Rovers rumour. Will Bernie face the music… or blow another fuse? Debbie gets a not-so-friendly helper Debbie’s prison stint takes an unexpected turn when she’s assigned an inmate ‘assistant.’ Unfortunately, it’s Lou Michaelis. Safe to say, Debbie’s thrilled… if thrilled means absolutely fuming. Sharing cells is one thing… sharing sanity is another. 4. Todd takes his eye off his phone Sarah and George treat Todd to a few pints and a takeaway, hoping to lift his spirits. Todd’s grateful, but when Theo’s missed calls start lighting up his phone, the mood sours. Slipping away to listen, Todd’s smile fades fast.
