Debbie prepares for the worst With prison looming, Debbie decides it’s time to hand over the hotel keys and taps Ryan as her stand-in boss. Kevin rocks up for lunch and nearly chokes on his chips when he finds Debbie, Sally, Tim, Abi and Tyrone lying in wait like an intervention flash mob. Debbie insists it’s all love, not a trap, but Kevin isn’t buying the group-hug vibes. Carl enters breathing fire and accusing Debbie of a full-on backstab for sidelining him in favour of Ryan. Todd counts the cost Theo announces a wholesome mum visit to Doncaster, while Todd is left staring at a lonely tenner like it’s his last rations. Disaster strikes in the café when George forgets his wallet and Todd is forced to part with his only note. Ouch. A pity pint is declined, pride intact but pockets empty. When Theo texts to say he’s staying over, Todd’s smile fades faster than his bank balance. Mal gets right under Bernie’s skin (Credit: ITV) 3. Bernie gets used to Mal being around Mal rocks up to Roy’s flat with his toolbox, and Bernie’s smile flickers like faulty wiring. She suggests a budget sparky instead, but Roy won’t budge, still guilt-ridden over Mal’s marriage woes. Later, Bernie bumps into Mal in the Rovers, where secrets are quietly negotiated over warm pints. He promises to keep schtum and vanish once the job’s done. For now, anyway. 4. Jack chooses Abi After a breakfast-free morning and a living room that screams chaos, Jack makes a big decision. He turns up with Abi and gently tells Kevin he’s moving in with her for a few days. Kevin’s brave face crumbles as Jack walks out, bag packed and heart heavy. Shona tries to track down her dad (Credit: ITV) 5. Jodie interferes with Shona’s plans Shona tracks down her dad’s old mate, Bernard Bennett… but Jodie’s already one step ahead, making a secret call and asking for a mysterious favour.
