Elsewhere, Tim makes it clear to Ben that Steve will always be his best friend. Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on tonight. Will tries to get Sam on side (Credit: ITV) 1. Sam strikes gold In the Bistro, Will waves off Nick’s nagging worries about Sam like a paper napkin in the wind. Later, he slyly offers Sam a splash of vodka, inviting him to ‘hang out’ – and Sam, eager to fish for secrets, bites the bait. Over at the precinct, Will swears his romance with Megan is all business… but Sam raises an eyebrow so high it nearly leaves orbit. Daniel, makes a dramatic entrance and sends Will running faster than gossip in a hair salon, leaving poor Sam holding the bag. Later on, in the prison, Debbie does a double-take when the guard announces a surprise visit from none other than her brother Carl. Talk about family drama! 3. David sends Carl packing Back on the home front, David walks in to find Jodie and Carl in a decidedly compromising tableau. Horror hits David like a rogue kettle boiling over, and he orders Carl Webster out faster than you can say ‘awkward!’ Meanwhile, Jodie soaks up the attention like a sunbeam on a rainy day. He tells David and Shona he needs a word about Lily. Jodie nudges Lily into the Kabin, prompting a reluctant ‘sorry’ to Brian. Tim’s territorial tiff Elsewhere, Tim drops by the Rovers, only to find Steve swapping banter with Ben. When Steve ducks to the loo, Tim quickly reminds Ben: Steve isn’t just a mate, he’s his mate.
