1. Hotel hell

Carl is cooking up chaos and it’s not room service. He rings up mate Jez and calmly chats through a terrifying plan to torch the Chariot Square Hotel. Jez soon rocks up pretending to be a handyman looking for work, charming Ronnie while sneakily snapping photos of fire exits and security cameras. Subtle? Not quite.

Ronnie smells a rat. After Carl leaves, he clocks Jez, snaps his photo and drops a warning. Carl equals trouble. Ronnie confronts Carl and makes it crystal clear he won’t let anything threaten Debbie. But when Carl casually drops the bombshell that Debbie is actually his mum – and will always choose him – Ronnie’s world tilts. Has he just lost a brother-in-law… and gained a dangerously entitled stepson?

2. Sam plays detective in Coronation Street spoilers

With Leanne away, Sam tells Daniel he’ll be hitting the books in the salon flat – though his real focus is Megan. When she reveals she’s got the place to herself, alarm bells ring. Will spins a dodgy excuse to Ben about staying with a mate, but Ben isn’t buying it… until Daniel unexpectedly smooths things over.

Later, Sam watches like a hawk as Will turns up at the flat, bag in hand, and Megan buzzes him inside. Coincidence? Sam doesn’t think so. Is he finally circling the truth?

3. Payback plans

Mal proudly shows off his latest crystal haul, claiming he’s exploring their ‘healing energy.’ Bernie, meanwhile, clocks he’s just trying to impress her and is not impressed. When Jodie serves Brian the wrong toastie, Bernie snaps – and Jodie notices. Very carefully. If Bernie’s annoyed, Jodie’s already plotting her revenge.

4. Prison problems get personal

Behind bars, Debbie slips up and calls Lou ‘Abi,’ before admitting she’s dealing with early-onset dementia. Another inmate, Paula, recognises Debbie instantly and isn’t shy about reminding her of past grudges. Lou warns Debbie to steer clear – but Paula’s already marked her territory. Is Debbie in serious danger?

5. Lily’s paper round joy

Elsewhere, David convinces Brian to give Lily a paper round. Lily’s thrilled – until David admits he’s mostly excited for some peace and quiet. Charming as ever.
