1. Todd’s emotions hit boiling point

Todd’s flat feels less like home and more like a waiting room for disaster as he paces about, convinced Theo could reappear at any moment. The tension is enough to make anyone reach for a stiff drink.

Across the Street at the undertakers, George’s day keeps going from bad to worse when yet another funeral booking falls through, leaving him frazzled and muttering under his breath.

Later, the gang at the Rovers – George, Christina, Sarah and James – attempt a cheerful intervention, hoping a few drinks and friendly faces might lift Todd’s gloomy mood. But the evening takes a sharp turn when Todd catches sight of Theo across the pub. Overcome with emotion, he bolts for the door faster than you can say ‘double whisky.’

Theo isn’t letting him escape that easily. He follows Todd outside and insists they need a proper conversation. Things only get messier when James ends up escorting a slightly worse-for-wear Todd back home. But lurking nearby in the shadows is Theo himself, clearly not ready to let this saga end just yet.

2. Steve’s funeral fears

Elsewhere, Steve is feeling the weight of the upcoming funeral for Jim McDonald and admits he could really use a friendly face by his side. He asks Ben to come along for support, which seems perfectly reasonable – until Tim hears about it.

Tim can’t hide his annoyance and points out that he actually knew Jim, unlike Ben, who barely crossed paths with him. Looks like the guest list just sparked a mini rivalry.

3. Adam’s car gets targeted again

Meanwhile, Adam’s still fuming over the mystery mess left on his car. Armed with a suspicious bag of dog poo, he confronts Jodie, who insists she has no idea what he’s talking about. David, however, seems to know better.

Adam later vents to Daniel and Alya, determined to get to the bottom of the situation. But things get awkward when Alya suddenly declines a call from Rich and quickly changes the subject.

Daniel suggests the only way Adam will crack the case is by catching the culprit red-handed. Unfortunately for Adam, Jodie and David are already one step ahead – gleefully attaching yet another bag of poo to his car before legging it down the street in fits of laughter.

4. Leanne issues an apology

Sam pops by the flat to collect his books, but the visit quickly turns uncomfortable when Megan seizes the chance to throw another snide remark his way while Leanne’s out.

Later, Leanne confides in Daniel that she’s worried about Sam and can’t shake the feeling something’s wrong. She also apologises for interrupting Daniel’s late-night phone flirtation with Megan the previous evening.

5. Maggie continues to meddle

Meanwhile, Ollie confronts Maggie about meddling in his love life after she encouraged Lauren to gatecrash his date with Amy. Lauren finally lays her cards on the table, admitting she still has feelings for Ollie and wishes they’d never split.

Looks like romance on the cobbles just got a whole lot more complicated.
