Megan lands her mum in hot water Maggie, Ben and Eva are stunned when Megan’s mum Janine arrives at the pub apologising and offering help, but she’s quickly shown the door. Megan’s trial heats up as Will faces his moment of truth Tension builds in the Rovers as the family rally around a nervous Will ahead of court, while Sam, in the mental health unit, worries Megan could walk free and come after him for revenge. In court, emotion runs high as Will’s pre-recorded statement is played, leaving his family shaken – but when he’s later questioned in person and meets Megan’s cold stare, he visibly struggles. Ben is also put through the wringer on the stand, facing a tough cross-examination from Adam. Megan presents herself as the innocent party and even challenges Ben’s parenting in court. As pressure mounts, Will tells his family he wants another chance to tell the full truth. But when he steps into the witness box and comes face to face with Megan, it remains to be seen whether he can go through with it. Meanwhile, the Driscoll family return home and tell Ollie that Megan’s fate now rests with the jury. 3. Sarah wants answers Sarah confronts Jodie outside, pushing for answers about the night of her attack and insisting it happened at 9.10pm while David the dog was barking. Lisa joins the discussion, and Jodie invites them inside, where she quickly starts questioning Sarah’s version of events, suggesting she may have been with Gary instead. Sarah’s mention of the trinket box clearly unsettles Jodie, but the exchange is cut short when David arrives in a panic to say the gate is open and David the dog is missing. Later, Jodie’s overly friendly behaviour at the café leaves Sarah uneasy, while David grows suspicious of the tension between them. He later tells Kit at the Rovers that something feels off, and Kit agrees to keep an eye on the situation. 4. Asha gets distracted Asha, Nina and Amy arrive at the bistro to find Summer already tipsy and mingling with some new guys she only met the day before. When she announces she’s heading into town with them, the trio are immediately wary. Called back to the bistro, Summer is confronted by Amy, Asha and Nina, who voice their concern over her recent behaviour and how much she’s been drinking. But the conversation is briefly derailed… Asha spots Sienna arrive alone, only to discover her date has stood her up. Sensing an opportunity, the girls quickly encourage Asha to make her move. 5. Idris’s romance comes crashing down Leanne and Idris are enjoying a cosy hotel stay with breakfast in bed. And, she’s delighted when he extends their break with a second night. But trouble brews when Toyah is told Leanne missed her visit and tries to call – only for Idris to quietly silence the phone. Things take a sharp turn when a furious Toyah turns up at the hotel and starts banging on their door. Earlier, Idris had gone all out to impress Leanne, treating her to lunch and a pampering session at Chariot Square. She enjoys every moment… before everything starts to unravel. 6. Toyah and Nick face trouble over Sam’s future Nick and Toyah are relieved to hear Sam is well enough to leave hospital soon. But, things take a turn when he says he wants to attend Megan’s trial to help him move on. Worried about the impact it could have, Nick secretly decides to shield Sam from the truth. He tells him everything went smoothly in court. But the cover-up doesn’t last long. Hope visits Sam in the mental health unit and, when he asks about the trial, she hesitates, leaving him suspicious. Once he learns what really happened, Sam confronts Nick and Toyah for lying. Elsewhere, Will breaks down at No.4, telling Tim he’s lost control of everything and doesn’t know what to do next.
