Ted Murray arrived home to a note from wife Joyce saying she’d headed to bed for an early night, after an emotional day that saw the couple arguing (again). He popped his head round the bedroom door and smiled warmly at his sleeping – so he thought – wife. But what he didn’t see (but viewers did) was her hand, hanging limply over the side of the bed.
