While Gray might be one of the most controversial characters in EastEnders history, viewers can’t wait to see what the soap has in store for him. Fans will remember that Gray arrived in Walford back in 2019 as the charming and successful husband of Chantelle Atkins. However, Gray’s true colours were soon revealed, and he subjected Chantelle to horrific abuse before she tragically died as she tried to escape him in 2020. Desperate to keep his secret safe, Gray killed Tina and hid her body in the Argee Bhajee for weeks. Gray’s third victim was lovely Kush Kazemi. EastEnders fans were left stunned when Gray pushed Kush in front of a speeding tube train as he tried to flee Walford with Whitney Dean – someone Gray was obsessed with. According to The Sun, the character, played by Toby-Alexander Smith, is back for a brief return. It has been reported that he won’t be sticking around for long, as he is still serving time in prison. His comeback is thought to involve his second wife, Chelsea Fox and their son, Jordan. But what does Gray want from Chelsea? And how will she feel about being contacted by her killer ex?
