The actress played Roxy Mitchell in the BBC show for a decade from 2007. She was killed off alongside her on-screen sister Ronnie, actress Samantha Womack, 18 months ago. The sisters drowned in horror scenes on New Year’s Day after Ronnie’s wedding to Jack Branning. The decision was widely criticised by fans and the stars of the show at the time. She said: “I hate the idea that I can’t go back – unless I come back as some weird Australian twin sister.
