Emmerdale: Matty to ‘remember’ Amy’s final words and uncover Nate’s death, fans predict 

Before she died, Amy tried to tell Matty that she had seen a dead Nate in the lake in Emmerdale. Fans have predicted that Matty will soon remember Amy’s words and uncover the truth about Nate’s death.

Amy died from her injuries following the limo crash, which saw her submerged beneath the icy river.

While down there, Amy saw Nate’s dead body. Amy died before she could properly communicate what she had seen, but now fans have predicted that Matty will put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Where is Nate?

Last year, Nate Robinson was offered a job in Shetland, Scotland. Originally, the whole family were planning to relocate, but Nate ended up leaving on his own.

Or at least, everyone thought he had left. While his wife Tracy bemoaned Nate’s lack of contact, his dead body was actually sitting at the bottom of a lake.

This was discovered in February during the epic limo crash stunt. After the limo containing several Emmerdale women (and Liam) crashed into an icy lake, the villagers took it in turns to escape the vehicle.

When it was Amy’s turn, the ice broke and she found herself submerged in the water. While down there, she was was shocked to see Nate’s body. After being pulled from the lake, she tried to communicate to husband Matty that she’d seen Nate, but Matty couldn’t make sense of what she was saying. Amy then tragically died.

Last week, it was revealed that John Sugden had been responsible for Nate’ death. A flashback scene showed John tending to Nate’s injuries following a beating from Cain. John was seen retrieving a syringe and injecting Nate with whatever was in it, knocking him out unconscious.

Whatever John’s plan had been, it went wrong and Nate ended up dead in the back of John’s van. John then dumped his body in the lake.

Nate’s body will soon be found, with Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy, teasing the ‘juicy’ reveal.

Fans predict Matty will discover Nate is dead in Emmerdale

Emmerdale fans have predicted that Matty Barton will be instrumental in uncovering Nate’s death.

Discussing how Nate’s body will be discovered, one fan said: “I think they’ll be chasing him for child support. They won’t get a response so they’ll contact the police. The mobile will be traced back to the village, which will trigger a memory in Matty of what Amy said about the body in the lake.”

A second fan almost echoed the first, writing: “I think Vanessa will try and contact him about child support ect and find out he didn’t arrive at his new job. Cain will be told and will probably trigger some memory in Matty of what Amy said about Nate and water.”
