Robert declares his love After finding out Robert had been beaten up in prison and was having a hard time, Aaron decided he would go and visit his ex. He had previously thrown the visiting order Robert sent in the bin. So without telling John, Aaron heads off to see Robert and once there, Robert tells Aaron he still loves him. Aaron is adamant that John is the right man for him. Robert is clearly upset, but appears defeated when he tells Aaron he will leave him alone. Robert taunts John in Emmerdale spoilers John soon realises exactly where Aaron has gone and decides to go to the prison himself. Sitting across from his half-brother, things are more than a little tense. Robert tells John is their father, Jack Sugden, was still alive, he’d want to have nothing to do with John. John doesn’t seem too fussed, so Robert really puts the boot in… He tells all about how he and Aaron kissed on Aaron and John’s wedding day. How will John react? It’s war between Robert and John (Credit: ITV) 3. John makes a mistake and Robert is on to him We’ve spent a long time waiting for John Sugden to be caught out and he is slowly starting to unravel. As the pressure to keep all of his secrets gets too much, Robert touches the wrong nerve with his comments and it doesn’t go down well. Losing his composure altogether, John is fuming and ready to explode. He darkly threatens Robert: ‘Watch out because you have no idea what I’m capable of’. John might think he sounds scary and it’ll be enough to get rid of Robert, but actually what is does is make Robert realise John is hiding some pretty big secrets. John’s attempt to regain control, has only served to make Robert suspicious. But will this mistake cost John everything? Robert quickly sees he has the upper hand again and tells John he’s returning to the village. John is stunned and knows he’s losing control completely.
