
Strictly Come Dancing 2025: Rugby star Chris Robshaw 'poised to sign' for BBC show

The former England skipper, 39, is said to be in talks to appear in this year’s series of the BBC show.
It has also been claimed Chris will be paired with Strictly pro dancer Nadia Bychkova, 35, in the ballroom.
Rugby union star Chris, who is married to soprano singer Camilla Kerslake, stands at 6ft 2ins tall. Nadia is 5ft 8ins, making them the best match.

Who is in the Strictly celebrity line-up?
This year’s confirmed celebrity line-up for Strictly Come Dancing is yet to be announced by the BBC. But there are plenty of rumoured names already in the mix!
Among the most recent celebs to be touted around include former Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis. It’s be said producers hope the 66-year-old popular Australian actor will “bring in the ratings”.
The Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner is also rumoured to be getting ready to sign up for Strictly, along with EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal. Balvinder plays Suki Panesar in the BBC soap.
Other unconfirmed names include Stacey Solomon, Olympic icon Sir Mo Farah and The Traitors’ Jake Brown. Love Island star Dani Dyer has also been spotted outside the BBC’s studios in London.

Two new Strictly pros
The BBC has already confirmed which professionals will be returning to Strictly. They include all the favourites, such as Johannes Radebe, Dianne Buswell and Gorka Marquez.
It is believed the Strictly pros are just days away from beginning rehearsals. The gang were already in the studio practicing this time last year, although there has been no sign of them yet.

Both dancers have extensive TV experience, having competed on shows including Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance? in their home countries.
Judges and presenters
This year’s judging panel will remain the same. Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood will all be returning to Strictly Come Dancing.
The series will also be hosted once again by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. This year’s presenters for Strictly: It Takes Two have not yet been announced. Last year, Janette Manrara and Fleur East hosted the spin-off show.

When is Strictly 2025 starting?
Strictly Come Dancing 2025 will kick off in September, although an exact date is yet to be confirmed. Last year, the pre-recorded launch show aired on September 14. The live shows began the week after.
The series usually runs right up until Christmas, with two show per weekend. The 2024 Strictly final took place on December 14.
