Maggie's secret is almost exposed, and Bethany warms to Jodie
And, Lou and Debbie share a heartfelt moment
In Coronation Street spoilers for Fri, Apr 3, Maggie almost lets slip her big secret to Ben during a heated moment.
Elsewhere, Bethany and Jodie start to bond.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Fri, Apr 3.

1. Maggie almost lets the cat out of the bag
Maggie wastes no time in putting Will on the spot as she corners him and lays her cards on the table. She’s convinced she’s worked it all out – that he’s in love with Megan and that the baby was his. It’s a huge accusation, and one that leaves Will with nowhere to hide. How will he respond under pressure?
Before he can say much more, the situation escalates as Eva and Ben walk in and catch the heated exchange. Ben is quick to step in, furious at Maggie for what he sees as her trying to bully the truth out of Will. But things take an even darker turn when Ben lashes out, telling Maggie that it would have been better if she had died instead of his dad. It’s a shocking comment, and Maggie’s reaction doesn’t go unnoticed, in fact, it leaves Ben more suspicious than ever that something isn’t quite right.

2. Todd turns up for George
Meanwhile, Todd attempts to make amends after his recent clash with George in the Bistro. Offering a heartfelt apology, he’s relieved when George reassures him that, despite everything, he’ll always care about him.
But there’s bigger drama ahead as George faces a tense day in court. Clearly shaken, he waits anxiously for the verdict, with Christina and Glenda firmly by his side for support. Later, Todd tracks George down in the pub, seemingly keen to check in on him. However, when George starts asking questions about Todd’s sudden decision to move to Belfast, Todd quickly dodges the topic – raising eyebrows and perhaps a few doubts too.
3. Debbie’s struggle is hard to hide
Over with Debbie, there are signs that all is not as it seems. Kevin and Jack pay her a visit, bringing a glimmer of hope as they reveal that Adam is feeling positive about her appeal.
However, it soon becomes clear that Debbie is struggling more than she’s letting on. A simple task like opening a carton of orange juice proves difficult, and Jack gently steps in to help. It’s a small moment, but one that speaks volumes.
Later, Lou offers a touching gesture, handing Debbie a lucky clover she made in woodwork class and assuring her it’ll bring good fortune for the big day. Debbie is clearly moved, and it’s a rare moment of warmth during an otherwise worrying time.

4. Jodie gains a friend in Bethany
Elsewhere on the Street, Bethany heads out for a drink with Jodie, and the pair seem to hit it off. But the mood shifts when a tipsy Daniel takes a swipe at Bethany over her past behaviour. Jodie doesn’t hesitate to jump in and defend her, and it’s enough to leave Bethany seeing her in a whole new light.
