Summer's gun drama, and Sam's hallucinations continue
And, Kit focuses on a fresh suspect
In Coronation Street spoilers for Mon, May 18, Summer’s gun confession sparks major concern from George Shuttleworth.
Elsewhere, Sam continues to hallucinate Roy as he listens to his words of paranoia.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Mon, May 18.

1. Summer’s secret sparks panic
There’s huge drama brewing on Coronation Street next week and Summer Spellman could suddenly find herself at the centre of a major murder mystery twist.
What starts as an innocent tidy-up quickly turns into total chaos when George accidentally knocks over Summer’s bag. But instead of finding the usual bits and pieces, he’s horrified to discover a page from her journal describing putting a gun to Theo’s head.
Safe to say, it’s not exactly light reading.
George is left stunned by what he’s found and things only get more serious when Christina starts reading through the journal with him. The pair are desperate to make sense of it all, but before they can get too far, Summer suddenly returns home and catches them in the act.
Talk about bad timing.
2. Kit spots a clue
Meanwhile, Kit appears convinced they’re getting closer to solving Theo’s murder and his latest discovery could spell serious trouble for Summer.
While looking through Lisa’s wedding photos, Kit notices one crucial detail that could potentially implicate Summer. And when he reassures Todd that the investigation is moving in the right direction, Summer visibly squirms at the comment.
Her reaction definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.
With suspicions growing and secrets threatening to unravel, Summer could soon find herself under more pressure than ever before.

3. Ben refuses to forgive
Elsewhere on the cobbles, tensions remain sky-high for Ben and Maggie.
Maggie becomes caught up in even more lies and things get awkward fast when Ben arrives home to find Eva comforting his tearful mum after another emotional fallout.
Eva pleads with Ben to go easy on Maggie, but Ben clearly isn’t ready to forgive and forget. After the week he’s had, he’s determined not to back down.
And from the look of things, this family drama is far from over.
4. Jodie’s plan goes badly wrong
Over at Daniel’s place, Jodie tries to help but ends up making things far worse.
Daniel admits he still doesn’t feel ready to face the world, prompting Jodie to come up with a plan to motivate him. She tells Daniel she bumped into Cassie and suggests Bertie really misses him and needs him around.
Feeling guilty, Daniel heads to No.1 to collect Bertie – only to discover his son is actually having a brilliant time and isn’t upset at all.
Realising Jodie lied to manipulate him, Daniel returns home furious and confronts her over what she’s done. But when Jodie insists she only did it for his own good, will Daniel eventually soften towards her?

5. Sam’s fears continue
Meanwhile, Sam’s worrying behaviour takes another unsettling turn.
As Roy walks down the street with him, Sam listens carefully while Roy warns him that he shouldn’t trust anyone.
But with Sam already struggling to separate reality from hallucination, the comment leaves him more confused and paranoid than ever.
