Anthony 'confirmed' to be Zoe's stalker as former lovers rekindle their romance

Anthony's still hung up on his ex

Former lovers Anthony and Zoe hooked up again in EastEnders tonight (Wednesday, November 26), as she took solace in his arms. This came after she shared another bitter confrontation with Jean, and found no support from Kat and Alfie.

Frustrated, she found comfort in Anthony’s kind words. And, as the episode ended, the pair took things up to the bedroom.

But with Anthony demonstrating a concerning obsession where all things Zoe are concerned, some fans have wondered whether he might be her stalker after all.

Here’s everything that happened in EastEnders tonight.

Zoe confronted Jean

Kat and Alfie woke up in the middle of the night to persistent nuisance calls. Meanwhile, Zoe had been getting a series of (very petty) menacing text messages. “You’re a bad person. Selfish woman. Full of spite.” Well, if it’s not Jean, they’ve nailed her tone.

Zoe was determined to confront Jean, but Kat warned her otherwise. At the café, she shared her frustration with Anthony, who continued to advise her that she was on the right track.

She went to see Jean, accusing her of ringing the family at all hours. Jean – who didn’t even bother denying making the calls – launched into another rant, accidentally offending Freddie too by breaking the lucky necklace Anna had just given him.

She returned to the room just in time to hear how Freddie was planning on leaving Walford. Naturally, Jean blamed Zoe for that too.

Meanwhile, Anthony was obsessively looking at pictures of his old flame when she called. He jumped at the opportunity for time with Zoe when they called, and the pair shared a bottle of wine later, at the Trueman household.

“You’re the only one that’s kind to me,” Zoe said, as she led him upstairs, to the bedroom.

Is Zoe making a huge mistake?

Anthony is stalking Zoe, EastEnders fans predict

As tonight’s scenes aired, fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the situation. And, to many, Anthony’s behaviour came as confirmation that he was indeed the one who had been tormenting Zoe.

“Anthony is dangerous?!!! exclaimed one fan on X.

Another asked: “Is Anthony Zoe’s stalker? Or is it too obvious taking into account he made out for Zoe’s family that she was having some form of psychotic break?”

“Can we agree that Zoe’s stalker is Anthony,” said a third.

“Anthony is Zoe’s stalker, made me sick so much,” echoed another.

Is Zoe falling for Anthony’s sick game? Or is his social media stalking but a (very strange) coincidence.

Traitors' Jessie Stride explains the truth about her stammer as she claps back at trolls who accused her of faking it

Jessie Stride has revealed the truth about her stammer after she was cruelly accused of 'faking it' during her time in The Traitors.

The Faithful, who was murdered in the BBC show last week, has clapped back at trolls while explaining how her speech disorder works.

Jessie has had a stammer since she was four years old and was open about her struggles on the BBC show.

But she still found herself receiving vile messages from some keyboard warriors who claimed she was 'putting it on'.

Jessie has now bravely responded to the mean claims in a heartfelt video.

Traitors star Jessie reveals truth about her stammer

Jessie has recorded her video to thank fans for being so supportive of her during her time in The Traitors.

But she has also used it to explain more about how her stammer affects her.

The hairdresser said she received messages asking why her stutter would come and go in different scenes.

She begins by saying "hello, my fabulous friends", while also signing the welcome for hard of hearing fans.

Jessie goes on to say: "Even though I'm out of the game, I still feel like I have won. My whole purpose of doing wasn't ever to win. I mean, I wouldn't have turned down the money if I had won, but it was never to win.

"My whole purpose was to help raise awareness on stammering and I believe I have done that.

"I'm hoping that I have helped a lot of people who are like me and live with a stammer every day. It just proves that we can do whatever we put our minds to.

"Your stammer does not define who you are and it doesn't have to hold you back.

"Yes, it can be challenging at times. But we just need longer to speak."

She continues: "I've read a couple of comments from people asking why I stammer more in this episode, whereas in this one I haven't stammered much.

"The answer is, I don't know! A stammer is really unpredictable. People can link it with nerves but it isn't because I'm nervous.

"Nerves don't help but I don't stammer because I'm nervous."

Jessie has said her 'heart has been warmed' by all the messages she has received from fans who also have stammers.

She is also hoping her newfound fame will help raise more awareness of the condition.

"Stammering isn't talked about enough," Jessie adds. "We had Gareth Gates, which was really good, but we haven't really had much else.

"It is important that we educate people on it."

Jessie's murder on The Traitors

Jessie's time to leave The Traitors came during Friday night's episode (January 16, 2026). She was the latest murder victim to fall foul of Traitors Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby.

The pair bumped Jessie off after she began making her feelings known that she thought Stephen was a Traitor.

Jessie later learned she was right about Stephen during scenes in spin-off show, Uncloaked.

She jumped out of her seat and declared: "I am not just a daft lass that wears yellow and orange!"

Jessie was delighted to find out that she had guessed correctly, although she was really shocked to find out Rachel was the other Traitor.

The Traitors continues on Wednesday evening at 8pm. This time, Stephen and Rachel have to decide who to give a Dagger to.

The Dagger will grant the recipient two votes at the Round Table - and they can choose to award it one of themselves.

Hurry up, Wednesday!
