As she rules Anthony out, two shocking new theories on Zoe's twins emerge
The speculation is rife
EastEnders seemed to rule Anthony Trueman out as the father of Zoe’s twins last night (Wednesday, October 29) as he questioned what many fans have already been wondering. As it happens, Anthony isn’t the father of her children – she’d been on the pill, and the timelines don’t add up either.
But if not Anthony, then who? Zoe’s latest admission has sent the rumour mill into overdrive – with two new theories now coming to light.
Warning: The following contains discussion of themes which some may find upsetting.

Zoe’s twins the product of assault, EastEnders fans predict
With the soap returning to Slater history with the footage of vile rapist Uncle Harry, some have wondered whether Zoe’s pregnancy might be the result of an assault which occurred after her exit from Walford.
“I’m going to be very careful with what I say here, but I have a very strong suspicion that Zoe‘s children were a product of a non-consensual relationship. I’ll just leave that here,” wrote one fan on Reddit.
“I think so too. I think there’s a resemblance and hence why she’s scared to talk about it and goes into protective mode,” another agreed.

Her children never existed, fan theory suggests
In last night’s episode, Anthony shared his concern with Kat, diagnosing Zoe as being in the early stages of a psychotic break. Kat seemed unsure whether to believe Anthony, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that Zoe’s struggling with some deep issues.
Might the twins – and the pregnancy – be a product of her distressed mind?
“Are the twins even real? Perhaps it’s all a fantasy in her head….there has to be some kind of twist I think to drag out the details about the Father for this long,” asked one fan.
Another said: “I definitely do think she’s going through a psychosis atm and that the son doesn’t exist.”
Is Zoe as unwell as Anthony thinks?
