Bethany Platt was definitely suspicious of Jodie Ramsey in tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Thursday, February 26), seeing through her nice woman act.

She couldn’t put her finger on it, but she knew that Jodie shouldn’t be trusted. And, even went as far as telling Maria just that.

With Jodie being on the five potential murder victims list and with Bethany now having her concerns, could Jodie be leaving the cobbles?

Bethany Platt’s suspicions of Jodie in Coronation Street

Today in Weatherfield, David was working at the salon when he received an urgent call from Jodie asking him to come home. He had no idea why she needed him but everything became clear when he caught her with her hand down the back of the sofa.

Jodie explained that she could feel Shona’s wedding ring but just needed help grabbing it. Of course, this was just a set up to get closer to David.

Once the wedding ring had been found, Jodie popped it onto her finger and showed it to Shona at the pub. Shona was naturally thrilled and celebrated being reunited with the piece of jewellery, thanking her sister for the find.

But, Bethany Platt saw through the whole heroine act and shared her concerns with Maria. She was baffled as to how Shona’s ring was found in the house when she was certain she’d lost it at the salon.

She couldn’t put her finger on what it was about her yet, but she didn’t trust Jodie…

Olivia Frances Brown drops cryptic Jodie ‘clue’ on social media

With Jodie’s villain arc intensifying, and with the character being at risk of being bumped off in April, things are looking dangerous. And, Olivia Frances Brown has now sent fans wild with a recent Instagram post.

Fans have read into her wording and believe that the actress’s reference to playing Jodie in the past tense hints at her ultimate demise.

Olivia teased: “Came to the cobbles looking for closure and maybe a bit of chaos. How are we all liking Jodie? Would you trust her? Thank you for all the kind messages. I’ve loved every second of bringing her to life.”

One fan then responded: “Past tense quote?! Nooooo! So intrigued by your character and your portrayal is fabulous!

Another person added: “Love watching you on Corrie – great acting & so beautiful. Really hoping it’s not you they’re going to kill off in April.”
