What is the plot of Complicit on Channel 4?

Complicit, written and created by Caroline Carver, is a brand new thriller coming soon to Channel 4.

It introduces Jen Molloy, a woman whose bad decision derails her entire life. When she slips back home after a night of passion with a man who isn’t her husband, she has no idea how devastating the consequences will be…

The synopsis tells us: “When a death follows, one split-second lie threatens to destroy everything she holds dear. If protecting your family meant allowing a killer to walk free… What choice would you make?”

Channel 4 reveals: “Complicit explores the terrifying ripples of a single untruth and the contradictions of how far we will go to protect everything we love, whilst fighting an insatiable pull towards something more dangerous. Secrets are only secrets if they stay hidden…”

Claire Goose leads the cast as Jen Molloy. And she’s a firm favourite with TV fans ever since playing Tina Seabrook in Casualty between DC Amelia Silver in Waking the Dead, and Inspector Rachel Weston in The Bill.
