‘I can see this happening!’ Coronation Street fans predict explosive affair for Kit and Bethany as pair grow closer

It’s been a crazy few months for the family, as Kit discovered his partner, Sarah, murdered Theo. And due to his detective job, Kit has been desperate for Sarah to tell the whole truth to help her case.
We know that Gary helped Sarah cover it up, and initially gave her an alibi. So, Kit has been determined to prove this. So much so, he enlisted the help of Bethany – Sarah’s daughter.
Kit and Bethany have grown closer in Coronation Street
Since Sarah’s arrest, Kit has been doing everything he can for her kids. But over the last few episodes, he has been relying pretty heavily on Bethany.
She has been bringing Harry home, and ordering them pizzas. And when she realised Kit was planning something, she was eager to know more.
Kit filled her in on his plan to go through Gary’s phone records to see if he can prove he helped Sarah cover the whole murder up.
While Bethany wasn’t too keen with pinning it all on Gary, Kit made her see it was an opportunity to help Sarah, and so they both spent time going through the records together.
So, so far, everything has been because of their mutual love for Sarah. However, it is SoapLand, and affairs can happen in any situation!
Fans ‘can see’ an affair looming
Taking to social media after recent episodes, fans have been adamant that something more is going to happen between Bethany and Kit.
One fan penned: “I can see Kit and Bethany getting together.”
Another agreed: “I can sense an affair igniting between Bethany and Kit. Them working together for Sarah will bring them closer, and feelings will flare.”
“I hope Bethany and Kit aren’t going to have an affair” a third wrote. While a fourth asked: “So when is Bethany going to get with Kit?”
While fans suspect an affair will take place, Coronation Street spoilers confirm Sarah actually ends her relationship with Kit next week.
