Priya drops major ‘hint ‘about a death on Cindy and Max's wedding day in EastEnders
Did Priya just foreshadow their deaths?
EastEnders tonight aired Cindy Beale and Max Branning’s engagement party celebrations (Wednesday, July 1), but Priya wasn’t on board.
She knew Max’s dirty little secret, and that’s because she was his secret. But, Cindy currently has no idea that he’s been cheating on his bride-to-be.
As the couple started to celebrate their upcoming wedding, Priya made a comment that we couldn’t help but pause on.
Priya’s ‘deadly’ comment towards Max and Cindy in EastEnders
Fans of EastEnders will know that it’s been rather difficult for Max to remain faithful to Cindy ever since he cheated on her with Priya.
With Priya upset over Ravi leaving, she’s now turned her attention to Max and has made it clear that she holds all the cards. She’s already told him to ‘keep her happy,’ knowing that he’ll always be a man who will follow temptation.
As Max acted all lovey dovey with Cindy this morning, Priya caught them ahead of their engagement party outside of The Vic.
Holding some balloons, Priya suggested that they must’ve actually been serious about the engagement, and Max admitted that he only had eyes for Cindy from now on.
It was what Priya said next thought that caught our attention. If this was the last engagement party that Max and Cindy would ever have, then ‘they’d better be given a good send off.’
It was giving more funeral vibes, than happy-ever-after sailing off into the sun kind of vibes.
But, did Priya just hint at either Max or Cindy’s wedding day death? Well, now that she’s keeping Max’s secret, it wouldn’t be surprising if things got nasty on the wedding day.
Max and Cindy’s engagement party chaos
It was up to Gina to give a speech to the happy couple tonight, not really by choice but more by unfortunate nomination.
She hoped that Cindy and Max had finally found their match in each other, with both of their chaotic love lives now calming down a little.
Priya of course gave a smirk and a look in Max’s direction, knowing all too well that things weren’t as stable as Cindy and her family thought.
Later on, Priya and Max met up in the pub toilets as Priya put him firmly in his place.
As Max went to kiss her, she stopped him in his tracks. She told him that kisses were for ‘fiancées,’ leading him into a cubicle for something more steamy. But, will this all end in tragedy? Will wedding bells turn into funeral bells?
