The truth about Zack and Vicki is out - but trouble's coming as Ross demands answers tomorrow

Will Ross work out the truth about Zack?
Claire Crick

All hell broke loose in today’s EastEnders (Monday, February 2) when Ross proposed to Vicki, only to find out she had been cheating – little does he know it was with Zack. However, things are only set to get worse tomorrow when he starts to demand answers.

As an unsuspecting Ross made plans for a new handyman business, he was excited for a future with Vicki. Little did he know, his world was about to implode.

Ross planned his proposal

Having decided he wanted to pay Sharon back for her loan, as well as save for a new home with Vicki, Ross asked Kathy for advice. She told him he was a good man for wanting to make a life with Vicki, and he was soon given the idea that he should propose.

However, what Ross didn’t know is that Vicki spent a secret night of passion with Zack… and there was still a spark between them.

When Zack asked Vicki to help him with Sharon’s paperwork at the boxing gym, she knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to spend more time with him. However, he was very persuasive, and soon they were sorting through the books together.

But as always when Vicki and Zack are together, there was a charged moment, and the pair almost kissed. Again. The only problem is, this time, Mark saw everything.

Mark discovered the truth about Zack and Vicki

Later, Mark spotted an oblivious Ross coming out of a jewllers and quickly guessed that he was planning to propose. However, when Mark started making digs about the fact that he was going to pop the question, the pair almost had a punch-up.

Thankfully, Zack was on hand to break things up. But he was in for a shock of his own when the subject of Ross’s proposal came up, and he was forced to hide his own heartbreak.

Knowing he had to intervene, Mark found Vicki and told her about Ross’s plans. She was surprised that Ross was going to ask her to marry him, but not as surprised as when Mark revealed he knew all about her fling with Zack.

Despite denying that there was anything going on, Mark knew that she was lying and advised her to tread carefully.

EastEnders Zack tried to move on from Vicki

Meanwhile, in The Vic, Zack was drowning his sorrows. Ravi saw and advised him not to dwell on things that weren’t life or death. With his friend’s words ringing in his ears, Zack got chatting to a woman at the bar, and they were soon leaving the pub together.

However, just as Zack walked out with his new friend on his arm, Vicki walked past. She was upset that Zack seemed to be moving on so quickly, not realising his heart wasn’t really in it.

It was only when she got home and found Ross on one knee that it all got too much for Vicki. She told him that although she loved him, she had a confession to make.

As Vicki confessed to sleeping with someone else, Ross was shocked. But it’s only a matter of time before he starts to demand answers.

The drama continues tomorrow

Tomorrow’s EastEnders will see Ross wanting to know more following Vicki’s bombshell.

But will she confess it was Zack she cheated with? Or will she manage to avoid bringing his name into it?
