April finally tells Marlon the truth but Celia quickly shows up and Dylan has a horrible realisation

After months and months of lying and being manipulated by Ray and Celia – and even thinking she has murdered someone! – April finally breaks down and tells her family what has been happening. But will they be able to protect her from the nightmare she has been living?
As April is making her confession, Dylan is slowly putting the pieces together that Ray and Celia may not be who they say they are.

April confesses to Marlon in Emmerdale spoilers
1. April heads to Callum’s house
Getting some cash from Bob, April heads to Callum’s house with a Christmas card full of the money. She posts it through the letter box before running away. But she leaves just before Callum opens the door himself.
Callum immediately calls Ray, who heads to tell April off. He demands that she leaves the Callum situation alone, even if she is struggling.
2. Ray and Celia create a plan to get April out of the village
When he gets back to the farm, Ray tells Celia about what happened. Furious, Celia decides April needs to be separated from her family for good.
Ray then finds her and tells her that she has to go away to do a job. Feeling like she has no other option, April packs a bag.
But when Marlon sees Dylan, he is subtly urged to ask April about what is going on, causing him to rush off in a panic.
3. Celia realises Bear’s connection to the village
But at the same time, Dylan is greeted by Celia at the house. And he doesn’t manage to hide a photo of Bear quick enough.
As Celia spots the photo, she realises Bear’s connection to the village – and the big problem she now faces.
4. April breaks down and admits the truth
Marlon finds April on her way to the bus stop, and asks what trouble she is in. While she initially pretends everything is okay, she eventually breaks down.
Immediately, Marlon and Rhona persuade her to leave Ray’s job and stay with them. But as Marlon gets ready to go to the police, April shocks him even more by telling him she murdered Callum.
5. Celia sinisterly arrives at the house
But just mere moments later, everyone is stopped in their tracks when Celia arrives at the house.
And things take a sinister turn when she gets a video call from Ray, and gathers them all around to watch…
Dylan starts to doubt Ray and Celia’s intentions
6. Celia gets Dylan to take punish someone for her
Interrupting his birthday celebrations, Celia tells Dylan she has a present for him – Robbie. She believes Robbie snitched on them and tells Dylan he has to show him the consequences.
But when a terrified Dylan can’t go through with it, Celia brings Mick down to take his place.
7. Dylan is horrified
Then she shocks Dylan even further by putting him in charge of their forced workers.
It’s at this moment when Dylan realises he doesn’t actually get to say no. And the realisation that he is being exploited begins to dawn on him.
Worried about Robbie, Dylan heads to check on him. But what will he find?
Laurel and Ray’s romance continues
8. Ray and Laurel continue to see each other…
Laurel is clearly smitten with Ray, and when she sees the picnic he has made for them, she agrees to give him another chance.
But when the truth inevitably comes out, she’s sure going to regret letting him into her home.
9. As Paddy misses Bear
Bear’s birthday arrives, leaving Rhona shocked and Paddy gets upset thinking about how much he misses his dad.

10. Sam is upset to tell Lydia the truth
As Lydia is trying dresses on to wear to the concert, Sam is forced to burst her bubble and explain the truth about the tickets.
But when a very upset Lydia heads upstairs, Sam is left heartbroken.
