Belle comes to the rescue after Sam's surprise for Lydia ends in disaster
The Dingles find themselves in a financial pickle
Sam surprises Lydia with a ‘Jason Donovan VIP Experience’ in Emmerdale spoilers upcoming. But disaster strikes when a power cut at Wishing Well leaves the Dingles with a hefty bill to pay. As Lydia steps in to save the day, Belle has an idea how to repay her kindness.
There’s a surprise in store for Lydia in Emmerdale spoilers
Life for Lydia has been pretty quiet of late, with the character having very little screen time. But next week she’s back with a bang!
Sam’s wife has been busy squirreling away spare change for tickets to see her favourite music star, Jason Donovan, in concert. However, she’s worried that she’s not collected enough dosh to cover the cost.
Sam and Belle count Lydia’s change and decide to add in a bit extra. The siblings are delighted to realise there’s now enough in the pot to purchase the concert tickets, but unfortunately they’re unable to secure them. Sam is gutted, but Belle has another plan up her sleeve to surprise Lydia.
The Dingles bring Jason Donovan to the Dales
Belle decides that if Lydia can’t see Jason in concert, then they’ll bring the spirit of the Aussie singer into their home. The clan create a ‘Jason Donovan VIP Experience’, complete with karaoke machine and Sam in a blonde wig.
Later that day, a blindfolded Lydia is led into the living room by Mandy and Belle. She takes the blindfold off and is delighted by her thoughtful surprise.
The karaoke machine gets fired up. But just as Lydia is about to belt out her solo number the power goes. Sam tries to get it back on, but it soon becomes clear it’s more than just a temporary power cut.
Lydia makes a big sacrifice in Emmerdale spoilers
Thankfully the Dingles have an electrician in the family – Noah.
He comes by to investigate the issue, but discovers the whole house needs rewiring. Sam and Lydia are horrified when Noah reveals how much money this will be. Knowing it will take a long time to raise that sort of money, Lydia selflessly gives Noah her ticket fund to cover the cost.
Meanwhile, Belle has managed to get her hands on some Jason tickets, unaware of the rewiring issue. Sam has to break the news to his sister, but then has a lightbulb moment on how they can raise the money, with Belle’s help. Will the pair be able to pull off their plan?
