Charity’s mind is whirring in Emmerdale spoilers upcoming after she learns a shocking truth about Dr Liam. Using the incriminating information to her advantage, Charity blackmails Liam into forging a friendship with Mack in the hope he will replace Ross as her husband’s new best mate.
Charity wants rid of Ross in Emmerdale spoilers
Ross’s newfound bromance with Mack is giving Charity serious anxiety. The fellas have formed an unlikely bond after previously having nothing nice to say about one another. But while Mack seems happy to have someone to drink and game with, Charity fears Ross is going to out her dirty secret.
Only the viewers – and Chas – know that Charity and Mack slept together earlier this year. That drunken hook-up resulted in Charity falling pregnant with Mack’s baby. She’s managed to trick Ross into thinking it’s Sarah and Jacob’s kid she’s carrying. But if the truth about their fling came out, who knows what else might.
Charity turns the screws on Liam
Next week, Ross is up in Liverpool visiting his brother Pete, but Charity is still stewing over him and Mack. Liam thinks she’s overreacting and remarks that Ross and Mack’s bromance is “sweet”, which gives Charity an idea.
Trying to manipulate the situation, Charity railroads Liam into starting his own friendship with Mack. She suggests the pair have a gaming session, and hopes Mack will decide Liam is a lot more fun to hang out with than Ross. Seems unlikely, but hey!
As predicted, the plan falls flat and tensions flare when Liam and Mack clash during their gaming session. Charity is frustrated when Liam tells her this friendship with Mack is a non-starter. But then Charity gets some dirt on Liam that she decides to use against him.

Charity confronts Liam, warning she’ll out his secret unless he tries again with Mack. The GP is taken aback by her threat, but realises he has little choice but to comply.
But Liam isn’t the only one who’s got something to hide. Chas is also harbouring something, which could make life very tricky for her if it got out.
Later, the couple go to confide in one another. But when it comes to it, they opt to keep what they’ve done to themselves. Could there be trouble ahead?
