4 Emmerdale spoilers for Monday July 20: Charity dealt crushing blow as Todd walks free

Emmerdale spoilers for Monday July 20 see devastation for Charity as the CPS decide not to prosecute Dr Todd over the rape. But can Vanessa and Mack find another way to get justice?

Elsewhere, Kim finds out there’s been a break-in at Home Farm, and Kev wants a second (third?) chance at the café.

Here are four spoilers for Emmerdale for Monday July 20.

1. The case against Todd falls apart

DS Reid has news for Charity and wants to talk about it in person. It’s nerve-wracking for Charity as she waits for the police officer to arrive.

And then it’s bad. The CPS are not pursuing the case against Todd due to lack of evidence. Utterly defeated, Charity believes she will never get justice.

2. Mack and Vanessa plot in Emmerdale spoilers

Unwilling to let this go and let Charity forever feel no closure over her rape, Mackenzie and Vanessa decide to join forces. They are convinced they can find more evidence against Todd if they just look for it.

Their first port of call is the hospital. Will they manage to get anything that might help them fight Todd to stop her walking free and doing this again – and get justice for Charity?

3. Kim discovers an intruder

There has been a break-in at Home Farm and when Kim finds out, she arms herself with a shotgun determined to discover who was behind it.

She orders Head of Operations, Ross, who is somewhat lax in his role, to hunt down the intruder. She hands him a list of suspects, but how will his investigations go down in the village?

4. Kev wants another chance in Emmerdale spoilers

Nicola did all she could to make sure Kev’s job at the café did not work out. She knew putting him in charge of Mandy’s order for the depot would end in disaster and it did. Kev and Mandy argued and Kev decided to quit his job to protect Lewis from the fallout.

Nicola is thrilled and tries to persuade Lewis, Vinny and Mandy it’s for the best Kev has gone. But Claudette is on hand to give Kev the guidance he needs and she encourages him to keep his job in the café.

Just as Nicola thinks she has triumphed, Kev arrives and asks for his job back. Will Lewis give him another chance?
