Robert’s life and marriage to Aaron fell apart in 2019 when he was sent down for the murder of Lee Posner. Convinced he’d never get out of prison, Robert decided the kindest thing to do was set Aaron free. He cut all ties with his husband, and later filed for divorce.
Fast forward six years and Robert was released after new evidence came to light that put him in the clear. He returned to the village on a mission to win back Aaron’s love. But nothing has been plain sailing.
Viewers have seen how hard Robert has found adjusting to life on the outside. He’s been haunted by vivid nightmares of the ordeal behind bars. During one bad dream, Robert ended up accidentally lashing out at Victoria and gave her a black eye.
So far, Robert has refused to discuss what happened to him during his years inside. But next week, he’s finally ready to share his truth.
