Adam, Ryan and Thomas have weathered some stormsI’m A Celebrity South Africa‘s Adam Thomas has already been put through the wringer and the tough days aren’t yet behind him.
In a teaser for tonight’s show, Adam and fellow campmate Jimmy Bullard were shown embroiled in a huge bust-up.
The show was shot six months ago and reports claim the row was so bad that they’re still not speaking.
Adam’s feud with Jimmy comes hot on the heels of his fallout with David Haye.
David was accused of “bullying” Adam after he refused to do a trial due to a painful health condition.
For Adam and his famous brothers – Ryan and Scott – this is yet another reality show scandal they have fallen innocent victim to.
But, they have always bounced back. Here’s a look at all the TV storms they have weathered over the years.
Ryan Thomas and Roxanne Pallett on Celebrity Big Brother
In 2018, Adam’s older brother Ryan found himself at the centre of one of the biggest reality show scandals in history.

Ryan, who found fame in Coronation Street, entered the Celebrity Big Brother House alongside a string of other famous faces. One of those was actress Roxanne Pallett.
While standing in the kitchen one day, Ryan excitedly jumped around Roxanne while pretending to be a boxer. Ryan accidentally and gently caught Roxanne’s arm in the play-fight, yet she squealed: “Ow! Woman beater!”
Roxanne then asked Big Brother to call her to the Diary Room. She complained that Ryan had deliberately hit her, causing pain.
The following day, Roxanne ‘demonstrated’ what she claimed had happened. She repeatedly hit and slapped Ben Jardine, which prompted the horrified housemates to initially take her side.
In scenes that left the nation furious, Roxanne even sobbed: “This is why women don’t say anything, because it’s turned around.”
Poor Ryan was convinced his career was over, especially after he was given a formal warning. But the public saw everything that happened and the support was overwhelming.
His warning was revoked after a huge viewer backlash. Ryan was also left in tears of relief as he heard chants of ‘Get Roxanne out’ on eviction night.
Roxanne quit the CBB house. She later told CBB host Emma Willis: “Watching it felt like a different scenario than it felt a the time. When I watched it back, I realised I got it wrong.”
Ryan, meanwhile, was vindicated. The public rallied round in their millions and he won the 2018 series of Celebrity Big Brother.
And quite rightly so!
Scott Thomas: Love Island All Stars Vegas Night row and exit
Unlike his soap star brothers, Scott found fame via reality television. He made his mark in the 2016 series of Love Island, eventually finishing in third place with Kady McDermott.
The couple split and Scott gave romance another shot in Love Island: All Stars 2025. However, he ended up becoming embroiled in one of the biggest rows of the series.
Scott and fellow islander Luca Bish clashed on several occasions. Luca first made a dig at Scott when he asked Ronnie Vint how he “goes in to kiss a girl”.
Luca swiped: “You’re 36 years old mate, asking how to kiss a girl.”
Then things really kicked off at Vegas Night. During a game of truth of dare roulette, Scott said he was going to ask Luca’s lady, Grace Jackson, a question.
But then he announced he had changed his mind.
‘You’re a different breed’
Luca was furious, as it suggested something was afoot in his relationship.
“Say it. If you want to go there, go there?” Luca told him. But Scott insisted: “Bro I’m being respectful to you.” The lads then argued, with islanders holding them apart.
Scott called Luca “stupid” as things went from bad to worse.
With tension already high, Luca was dared to kiss the islander he believed was only in the villa for fame. He kissed Scott on the cheek, saying: “I think he wants to get far in here and that’s why you’re with Tina and you’re not feeling it.”
Scott’s partner Tina was left in tears at Luca’s claim Scott wasn’t “feeling it”. Furious Scott told Luca he was a “different breed”.
Scott ended up quitting the Love Island villa. He insisted he walked out as he hadn’t found a romantic connection with anyone.
Scott has also quashed his row with Luca. He has since said he had “a lot of love” for his housemate and compared him to a “younger brother”.
Since then, it has all been forgotten.
Adam Thomas: David Haye clash
Adam is still in I’m A Celebrity South Africa and has already dominated headlines. But not for anything that he has done wrong.
The actor clashed with David Haye after he refused to take part in a physical task as he felt unwell.
Adam lives with the autoimmune condition psoriatic arthritis, which causes severe pain. It has also caused him to experience fatigue and dehydration in South Africa.
David wouldn’t let it drop, though. He described Adam as “useless”, adding: “I hate useless guys.”
Even hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly waded into the controversy. Dec said in the show’s podcast that it was “not a nice watch”, saying David “picked and picked”. Ant agreed, saying David “crossed the line”.
Adam has since released a statement, explaining just how difficult he found I’m A Celebrity South Africa. He also said David ‘broke him” in camp.
David has since denied he is a “bully”. Adam, meanwhile, told fans: “He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I’ve told David this and he’s apologised and that’s that! I’ve moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge.”
Adam has been inundated with fan support in the wake of the incident, leading speculation that he – just like Ryan did in CBB – will win this year’s I’m A Celebrity South Africa.
Adam Vs Jimmy
Tonight, Adam will be seen clashing with football legend Jimmy Bullard. It comes after Jimmy pulls out of a trial, while Adam is already fully immersed in it.
“Are you taking the [bleep]? Are you taking the [bleep]?” an angry Adam shouts at Jimmy. “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,” Jimmy says, trying to defuse the situation.
Viewers have been warned that they ‘haven’t seen anything yet’, as it is said to be seriously spicy.
But could this quash Adam’s chances of being crowned I’m A Celebrity Legend 2026? Somehow, we doubt it.
