What group was Ashley Roberts in?

Ashley Roberts rose to global fame as one-sixth of the Pussycat Dolls. Other founding members of the recording group include Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton.

Through a friend, she discovered the Pussycat Dolls, a modern burlesque dance troupe founded in 1995 by choreographer Robin Antin. In 2002, Ashley began performing for the group following a successful audition.

However, the following year, Robin secured a deal with Interscope Geffen A&M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine to transform the troupe into a broader brand and launch a separate pop girl group.

In 2005, the group released their debut album, PCD, and the rest was history. The Pussycat Dolls were instantly global and managed to sell over 55 million records.

Some of their biggest hits include Don’t Cha, When I Grow Up and Stickwitu, the latter that earned them a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

In 2026, the Pussycat Dolls announced they would be embarking on a huge world tour, PCD Forever, as a trio with Nicole and Kimberly. They also released a new single, Club Song.

Can Ashley Roberts sing?

While Ashley prominently features as a dancer in the Pussycat Dolls, she has also embarked on a solo career.

In September 2014, she released her debut album, Butterfly Effect, via Metropolis London.

Ashley also appeared in the London West End as Dawn in the musical Waitress in 2019.

Are Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt related?

No. Ashley and Kimberly are not related to each other. Although this assumption could be made because they are both blonde members of their group.

Throughout the years, they have maintained a close friendship. In 2024, she told OK!: “Kimberly and I actually were friends before we even got in the group together. So we’ve been friends, oh my God, for more than 20 years and gone through a lot together. She’s got three kids now. I’m Auntie Ashley! We probably see each other the most and we’re still really close friends.”

Ashley Roberts on I’m A Celebrity

Ashley first appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2012, two years after the Pussycat Dolls first went their separate ways. She appeared on the show alongside the likes of fellow returnee David Haye, Helen Flanagan and Linda Robson. Ashley finished in second place to EastEnders star Charlie Brooks.

In a 2024 interview with Express, she revealed how the experience allowed her to appreciate food more.

“Honestly, you miss your family in the jungle but really, it’s the fantasy of food that happens in there that drives you nuts!” she said. “I ate camel penis, I ate raw fish eyes… [and after leaving the jungle], food was just orgasmic after that. My first hot shower was like an orgasm, too.”

Where does Ashley Roberts live?

Following her time on I’m A Celebrity, Ashley has spent a lot of time in the UK and now resides in London.

In 2019, she told The American that she had “lived [in London] for 6 years off and on”, describing it as “home”. She added: “I still have a home in LA, but I rent it out because I’m over [in the UK] more now!”

“The Brits just scooped me up. After I did the jungle, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, in 2012, I felt so much love from the UK. I met some really great people and had so many opportunities here. I love LA, I love the lifestyle, but I prefer my community and my work over here in the UK.”

Ashley also works on Heart FM in London. She presents the showbiz news on Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden’s Breakfast Show. And she’s often seen with work bestie Amanda on social media. Multi-talented Ashley is also a DJ, and she’s currently in the Maldives working. Nice job if you can get it, Ash!

When was Ashley Roberts on Strictly?

Ashley joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing for Series 16 in 2018. She was paired with Russian pro dancer Pasha Kovalev and finished as runner-up.

Reflecting on the experience, she told The American: “Strictly was amazing because it reminded me how much I love to perform.”

While speaking to The Standard, Ashley said it was a “magical experience”.

“Every Saturday, going out there and having a whole new style. You’ve got the character, and the costume, and the glam and all the production. It was so rewarding to look back at everything you did. It’s hard work but it’s such a magical experience,” she explained.

Who is Ashley Roberts married to?

Ashley is not married. However, she is currently in a relationship with boyfriend George Rollinson, 25. They have reportedly been dating since November 2023. Despite their 17-year age gap, reports have suggested they are “smitten” together.

Previously, Ashley has been romantically linked to former Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice and even allegedly dated I’m A Celebrity host Declan Donnelly.

Two months following her time in the jungle, Ashley secured a presenting role on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

In March 2013, the pair were reportedly seen flirting with each other at the TRIC Awards.

“We’re trying to keep it out of the public eye, we’re just getting to know each other. We’re having fun, but I’m single,” Ashley later said, per Daily Record.

“I love both those guys,” she continued while also praising his co-star Ant McPartlin.

In August of that year, Dec began dating his now wife, Ali, whom he married in 2015.

What to expect in episode one

I’m A Celebrity South Africa starts tonight – and here’s what to expect.

Ant and Dec are back, and helicopter over to meet the stars at the first trial. The cast appear to be split into three groups. And the three trials look terrifying. One sees them standing on wooden platforms high above a rocky barren wasteland. Another sees the stars strapped together on slippery glass panels high above an expanse of water.

Mo Farah, Ashley Roberts, Adam Thomas and Beverley Callard take part in the Tipped Over The Edge challenge. Meanwhile, David Haye and Scarlett Moffatt take part in Unlucky Lodges. Seann Walsh and Sinitta can be seen taking part in a trial called Level Up. Theirs features high bridges and screams aplenty from Seann! Sintta, meanwhile, appears to breeze through it, showing off her guns at the end!

It’s not yet been revealed how the latecomers – Jimmy Bullard, Craig Charles, Gemma Collins and Harry Redknapp – will enter camp.
