Gemma is strugglingI’m A Celebrity South Africa fans have rallied around Gemma Collins after she broke down in tears in camp.
The reality star has become a firm favourite on the ITV spin-off show so far. Along with the likes of Harry Redknapp, Sinitta and Ashley Roberts, Gemma is roughing it up in the South African jungle.
However, in a preview for Wednesday’s episode (April 15), things take an emotional turn when Gemma is left crying, admitting she is struggling to adjust to life in the camp.

Gemma Collins breaks down on I’m A Celebrity South Africa
In a first look at tonight’s episode, Gemma admits she is struggling with camp life. While sitting on a log, Gemma starts sobbing, prompting Adam Thomas to comfort her.
She tells him: “I don’t think I can take it,” as she wipes away the tears from her face. Adam responds: “Hey, hey, hey,” before rushing over to give her a hug.
“I just feel a bit ill,” Gemma says. She adds: “I’ve just got to let it all out.”
Speaking in the hut, Gemma says: “It’s been a difficult day and I don’t know why. And obviously, I’ve got close with Adam, so I just had to break down and let it all out.”

Gemma ‘not used to this’
After letting it all out, Gemma tells Adam: “I’m alright, I feel good in myself mentally. I really do. It’s just tough.”
Adam wipes away Gemma tears and tells her: “Hey, we’re on the long stretch now.”
However, Gemma says she’s struggling without her home comforts. She says: “I know, it’s just I can’t wash properly. I can’t have anything nice. I’ve got to wash up every five minutes.”
Gemma and Adam start giggling as Gemma quips: “I’m not used to this. I’m just so not used to this.”

Fans rush to support Gemma
Following Gemma’s emotional moment on I’m A Celebrity South Africa, fans flooded her with support. In the comments section of an Instagram Video, one person said: “Go on Gem! You can do this.”
Another added: “Gemma Collins is playing a blinder, fair play to her for facing her fears, staying put and managing to giggle through it all! Just goes to show you what genuine support can do for someone, we need to look out for each other!”
A third chimed in: “Love these two! Adam is so sweet with Gemma.” Someone else wrote: “Love Gemma and feel her pain, I hate washing up too.”
